"So, you planning to cheer for me today?" Minho asked as he sat down on one of the benches in the cafeteria while placing his tray down. The girl was seated on the other side of the table before sighing.

"I told you, I'm playing, not cheering" She reminded him as she began eating and the male sighed and nodded his head.

A moment of silence passed between them Minho couldn't help but look at her while she ate, wanting to steal a glimpse of her face, but instead his eyes met hers, making her quickly turn her head away.

The boy tilted his head a bit, an amused grin forming on his lips.

"Were you staring at m-"

"Pssh- I was staring at the guy behind you," Hyeji said and the amused grin on Minho's face dropped. Even though he had a feeling she was lying, he turned around to check who was behind him but a wave of reassurance heaved through him when he saw the few empty benches.

Hyeji saw how the male turned around and she internally chuckled, finding his reaction a little funny and innocent.

After lunch, Minho and Hyeji headed straight to the indoor basketball court where a few others were already gathering.

Minho walked ahead and greeted his teammates while Hyeji watched them awkwardly from a distance. She watched as the boys headed to the changing room a sigh left her lips as she looked around for the coach- hopefully she would have her uniform today.

"Ugh, you're here today too!?" Hyeji heard a familiar female's voice behind her. She turned around and her eyes narrowed as they met with Hwan's. Jenna who stood next to the girl gave Hyeji a dirty look while Shuha smiled and waved and Soyeon and Yeji gave the girl friendly smiles too.

Hyeji wondered how mad she could possibly make Hwan, given the fact that she already seemed to despise her guts.

"Yeah I am here, you got a problem with that?" Hyeji asked back, crossing her arms and Hwan glared at the girl before scoffing and walking over to one of the benches on the side of the court with Jenna following close behind.

The other three girls followed the two but they exchanged friendly 'hi's and 'hello's with the girl unlike the first two.

The girl noticed someone else walking in, and as soon as she saw that it was the P.E teacher, who was also the coach, she quickly walked over to him. The man sighed when he saw Hyeji.

"My uniform?" She asked, anticipating the man to give her her uniform as she held one of her hands out.

The male reluctantly placed a green uniform in her hands, and it was the same color as the boys' uniform... but as she unfolded it, she saw that it was a two piece cheer outfit like the one that the other cheer girls wore.

"They don't allow females to play... not in male-only schools," The coach said before she could start complaining and Hyeji sighed. She was about to return the uniform but she then heard Hwan's laugh from from the basketball court.

"Poor girl wanted to play with the boys but now has to cheer... she's not gonna do it because its too girlie and she's different!" Hwan said, mocking Hyeji.

Hyeji sighed as her grip on the uniform tightened.

That obviously wasn't why she didn't want to cheer; she was just more interested in playing. But if Hwan thought that she would get to say that about Hyeji and be right, she was wrong to even imagine.

Hyeji forced a small smile before looking at the coach and giving him a small nod. "On second thought.. I will cheer" She said and the  male raised an eyebrow in surprise. She remembered how the girl strictly denied cheerleading the last time.

"Alright... go change" He muttered, and the girl hummed before turning around and walking toward the washrooms nearby to change her clothes.

At the same time, Minho and the rest of the boys walked out, changed into their own uniforms and some of the boys began subtly flexing their biceps when they saw the cheerleaders. He rolled his eyes at them and searched the court to find a single person, but his eyebrows furrowed in confusion when he couldn't see her.

He was just about to question where she left when his eyes suddenly caught her walking in. She had his entire focus- the cheerleader outfit looked a little too good on her.

He quickly turned his head away, clearing his throat as a light blush swept across his face when he realised he was staring at her.
