Minho and Hyeji walked into the cafe together and the girl immediately skipped her way to the displayed cakes and pies. Minho chuckled as he followed her. 

Hyeji couldn't decide on what to pick- everything looked so good. She walked around a little, examining all the food to decide what to pick while Minho just stood watching her, a smile on his face.

"I'll have this" Hyeji said, pointing at a small plain chocolate display. Minho nodded and walked to her side.

"I'll just eat whatever you're eating," The boy said before turning around at a male waiter who wore an apron.

"Can we get this?" The boy asked and the man nodded.

"But would you like us to add some decor on top? Don't worry, we won't charge extra" The waiter said and Hyeji smiled at the kind offer and nodded. 

"May I know your initials by the way? It's for the decor" The man said with a polite smile, making the other two smile back at him. 

"It's L.M for me" 

"Y.H" 

"Very well, please have a seat over here," The man said with a nod as he showed them a table and they sat where he told. 

Hyeji watched as the man picked up the cake and went to a door that probably led to the kitchen. She then moved her gaze to the boy in front of her who was staring at her.

"What? is something on my face?" She asked, blinking a little at Minho.

"Yeah- beauty" Minho said and Hyeji rolled her eyes with a small chuckle.

"I heard that in a song," She said, crossing her arms at him and the boy chuckled a little. 

"Yeah but It's still there," He said, bringing his hands to his cheeks as he kept his elbow on the table while he looked at her with a small grin.

Hyeji turned away with a small blush, wanting to avoid eye contact with Minho.

'This guy. Is he flirting with me?'

A minute later, the man with the cake walked out of the kitchen and Hyeji smiled when she saw him bring the cake to their table. But the smile on her face changed to a shocked 'O' when she saw the decor on the cake. She lifted her gaze up to see a boy with an equally shocked face.

The cake was decorated in beautiful icing but- their initials were in a heart, surrounded by little icing roses. 

The man noticed their reactions and his eyes went wide. 

"Wait oh my god! I'm so sorry I thought you were a couple- are you, siblings? oh my- I just assumed-"

"No no we aren't siblings!" Hyeji quickly said, shaking her hands. The man let out a small relieved sigh. 

"But then- are you a couple?" He asked, tilting his head, and looking at Hyeji intensely.

"Umm-" Hyeji noticed the man's sudden change in the way he looked at her. It almost felt like he was earlier being polite because he thought he and Minho were dating.

"I mean, a pretty girl like you would probably have a boyfriend by now right?" The man smirked at her, and Hyeji flinched at the unprofessional act he displayed. 

Minho eyed him before glancing at the girl who looked slightly uncomfortable. He then reached for her hands which were on the table and gently held them, making both her and the waiter to look at him. Minho darted his gaze straight into the man's eyes before speaking up.

"You're right, I pretty girl like her would have a boyfriend by now, and that's me," Minho said firmly, voice no shutter. The man blinked at them before pursing his lips and bowing a little before he walked away. 

"I didn't need your help," Hyeji said, pulling her hands away from Minho's once the waiter walked away. Minho chuckled a little when the girl pouted and looked away, and he noticed the obvious blush on her cheeks. 

"You're welcome," He said softly and the girl couldn't help but smile at herself, unable to retain the pouty face.
