The portal opened way up in the sky. As (Y/N) and Cherri stepped through it, they looked down and saw how high they were.
(Y/N): Aw, biscuits...
They began falling.
Cherri: Woooohooooooo!
She began throwing bombs left and right while they were falling.
(Y/N): Ahem. Not to interrupt your fun or anything, but uh... *points at the approaching ground* we've got a little situation.
Cherri: Sorry.
(Y/N) swallowed her to protect her in his stomach just before they hit the ground. He spat her out once they landed.
(Y/N): Blah... Needs salt.
Cherri cleaned herself from (Y/N)'s spit.
Cherri: So this is the gluttony ring, huh?
(Y/N): Yup. I'd say it's good to be home, but uh... you know...
They found themselves in a place made out of flesh and fat, with boiling pools of lard where the sinners were getting punished. Their screams echoed throughout the whole ring.
Cherri: That is the foulest faith one could ever imagine.
(Y/N): And it's my faith as well, because if Beelzebub catches me, she'll damn me to forever boil in this.
Cherri noticed a huge bed of sorts, made out of the flesh.
Cherri: What's this for?
(Y/N): *Shrug* I don't know. Maybe there was something there.
Cherri noticed (Y/N) was hiding something, but decided not to bring it up. She turned back to look at the sinners.
Cherri: Such fate. Look at them. How could such harmless sin lead to such lust in torment?
(Y/N): The gluttons, what we could not satisfy in life, in death we shall be denied for eternity.
???: (Y/N)...
They turned around and saw a slender man in one of the boiling pools.
Man: Do you remember me, (Y/N)? I too am from Florence. You were born before i died.
(Y/N): I don't know you, glutton.
Chiako: You know me. I'm Chiako. Gluttony was my sin, and here i remained, mere skin and bones.
His eyes teared up. It made (Y/N)'s heart sink.
Chiako: Can you help me? Free me from this agony... please...
(Y/N): I can't look at you like this...
He pulled out his cross and pointed it toward Chiako.
(Y/N): Be free.
The cross started glowing and Chiako's soul began rising towards Heaven.
Cherri: Wow. That was beautiful. I didn't know you could do that.
(Y/N): Hm...
The ground shook.
Cherri: Woah, what's happening?!
Lucifer's shadow errupted from the ground.
Lucifer: HOW DARE YOU FREE THE DAMNED?! THEY DESERVE TORMENT FOR WASTING THEIR FLEETING PRECIOUS LIVES!
(Y/N)'s called his pets out and he and Cherri prepared to attack Lucifer. They tried, but their attacks went right through him.
Cherri: Pussy! Show yourself and fight like a man!
Lucifer laughed.
(Y/N): What's so funny?
Lucifer: It's not time for us to battle. But once you come to my chambers, i will kill you with your own cross.
(Y/N): Joke's on you, you won't even be able to touch it!
Lucifer: You think a mere holy burn will stop me? No. It's just something to remind me of my place in Heaven. To remind me of the light of my father. But let me ask you, (Y/N), what of your father?
(Y/N)'s eyes widened.
(Y/N): M-My father?
Lucifer: He's here with us, (Y/N). Would you like to visit him? Hm? Hehehehehe... Hahahahahaha... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Lucifer's shadow dissapeared and tentacles came out of the walls and attacked (Y/N) and Cherri. (Y/N)'s pets came out again and bit off most of the tentacles, while Cherri blew up the others. When they were done, Cherri approached (Y/N) to see if he was okay.
Cherri: Everything alright? You seemed disturbed about your father earlier.
(Y/N): Yeah, it's... it's nothing. We should go.
He started walking, with Cherri following close behind him.
Cherri: You know, you never actually told me why you want to go to Heaven so badly. Do you wnat to see somebody, or...?
(Y/N) stopped in his tracks.
(Y/N): My mother...
Cherri raised an eyebrow.
Cherri: Your mother?
(Y/N): I want to see her. Even if it's for just a second. She was teh only one who ever cared about me.
He took off the cross from his back.
(Y/N): This cross belonged to her. I think this is the reason it doesn't harm me.
(Y/N) clenched the cross tighter.
(Y/N): And i swear, i will bring it back to her, even if it's the last thing i do.
He put the cross back on his back.
(Y/N): Anyway, we should probably go. Beelzebub is probably looking for us already.
Cherri: You'll see your mother again, (Y/N). And i will help you. You can count on that.
She playfully punched his shoulder.
(Y/N): Heh... Thanks, Cherri. Come on, i know a shortcut.
She followed behind (Y/N). It wasn't long before they reacehd Beelzebub's hive.
