The moment Althea and Thor landed in Midgard, Althea began to feel sad. She no longer would see her brothers or her mother. She was now alone in a world she didn't know. Nothing was ever going to be the same, especially considering she was now mortal like the Midgardians.
"Thea, I am going to take you to my Midgardian friends," Thor said,"They shall know how to help you, and you should become accommodated with your new home."
"Thank you, Thor," Althea replied,"but please," She turned to face him,"let Mother and Loki know I love them and that I am okay."
"And Father?" He asked, causing her to scowl.
"Let him know I will never forgive him, and I will always hate him." She said, making Thor frown.
Thor knew Odin had angered Althea, but he didn't think she'd hate him. Althea had never had a hateful bone in her body, but it seemed Odin had pulled it out of her. For the first time ever, Thor had heard his sister say that she hated someone.
When they eventually reached the place that Thor was meeting one of his friends, Althea felt a little unsure of herself. Thor placed his hand gently on her arm and lead her into the building. It wasn't fancy like Asgard, but it wasn't horrible. She just expected a little more, and it wasn't there.
"Thor?" She heard, and she seen a redheaded woman walking their way.
"Ah, Natasha," Thor smiled,"This is my little sister, Althea. She needs a place to stay, and I thought, who better than with the Avengers."
"There's not really any Avengers anymore," Natasha murmured, but she shook her head,"Why does she need a place to stay?"
"She was banished from Asgard," Thor said, making Natasha frown,"Not for anything bad. She refused to marry a prince Odin expected her to marry. He banished her from Asgard and made her mortal like you all," Thor sighed,"I need to know she is safe, and someone will be able to protect her, and take care of her in a place she knows nothing about."
"I know someone who can help," Natasha replied,"I'll take her from here. You get back to whatever you need to take care of."
"Thor," Althea's bottom lip trembled,"What if I do not fit in?"
"You will be fine, sister," Thor answered,"I trust them, and you should, too. You are in good hands."
Althea merely nodded, and with one last hug, Thor had to leave. The moment Thor was gone, Althea began to feel scared. She had never been on Midgard before, and now she was stuck here. She was never going to go back home, and she was always going to feel alone.
"C'mon, I'll introduce you to a couple people," Natasha said,"I've got to make a call before I take you where you'll be staying."
Althea followed quietly behind Natasha, and the woman almost wondered how she was related to Thor. Thor had heavy feet and could never be quiet. Althea had very quiet steps, almost completely silent, if it wasn't for the heels that clicked quietly as she walked. Natasha had a feeling that Althea had learned to be silent like that from Loki, one thing that could work in the girl's favor if need be.
"Nat," A blonde man greeted,"Who's this?"
"This is Thor's little sister, Althea," She replied,"She'll be staying here on Earth."
"Why?" A dark-skinned man asked, causing Althea to look down towards the ground.
"Her father's an asshole. He banished her and made her mortal because she refused to marry some prince." Natasha said, making both men frown.
"He's a dick." The second man commented, and the blonde man nodded in agreement.
"She'll be staying with Clint," Natasha said,"I've got to call him, but if he's okay with it, that's where she'll go."
"You sure?" The blonde man asked, and the woman nodded.
"Sam Wilson," The man greeted,"and that's Steve Rogers. I guess you know Nat, but I figured I should introduce myself so you won't feel so awkward."
"Do you have any uh, normal clothes?" Steve questioned, making the girl frown.
"Are dresses not normal?" She asked, causing Sam to laugh.
"Not on Earth," He replied,"Well, not your dresses."
"I have my armor, but all my other things are dresses." She said, and Steve sighed.
"It might be best if you change into your armor," Steve commented,"As long as it isn't another dress like the one you are wearing."
"Silly boy, would a woman really battle in a dress like this?" She retorted, causing Sam to chuckle.
Althea snapped her fingers, and her magic changed her outfit, much like Loki.
"I thought you were mortal!" Steve exclaimed, and Althea nodded.
"Yes, but Mother saved my magic." She replied, giving the man a slight smile.
"Your armor looks similar to Loki's." Natasha commented, making Althea smirk.
"He helped me design my armor," Althea explained,"Odin refused for me to have armor or learn to battle. Loki taught me everything, knowing one day I would need the talent."
Althea looked down at her armor, and it really did remind her of her brother. She missed him, as she missed her mother and Thor. Her armor, unlike Loki's, was purple in all the areas that his was green. The rest was a mix of black and dark grey. The heroes around her could admit that the armor was beautiful, and it fit her well.
"So, did you get ahold of Barton?" Steve asked, and Natasha nodded.
"Althea," Natasha turned to the girl,"We're going on a roadtrip to your new home." She said, causing Althea to bite her lip nervously.
Althea had no idea where they were going, and she wasn't sure how to react. She just hoped that wherever they were going, she'd fit in a little more. She just didn't want to be an outcast; completely alone until she eventually seen her brothers again...
