It is true that the most difficult thing to do is to let it be. The way things went, the way tables turned, and the fact that nothing lasts forever.
Have you ever asked yourselves these two questions?
"Can I just close my eyes when I no longer want to see?"
"Can it be easy to blind myself, even for a moment?"
If you have asked yourself these two questions before, I am telling you that you are not the only one. We all hope we can, and I know it fully that no matter how long we close our eyes to not see how sad and devastated we are, and no matter how many times we spend doing it, the emotion and the truth just remain.
The undeniable truth is that acceptance is a long-term process in life. Especially for people whose love and care are so genuine.
Acceptance may be hard because, for us, acceptance means forgetting, but that doesn't necessarily mean that way. Acceptance means letting things and people be in their right places. It allows the people you love to grow and live the life they deserve, even if it means you are no longer part of it.
