The summer sun bathed camp in a warm glow as Annabeth Chase walked through the familiar paths. It had been a while since she and Percy had visited and the memories of her teenage years drew her back for the summer. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as she made her way towards a small crowd forming near the big house.

Annabeth approached the crowd and discovered the cause of the commotion-a small, lively girl with wild, dark brown curls, sparkling blue eyes and almond skin. She couldn't have been more than six

As Annabeth pushed herself through the crowd of younger demigods, the girl looked up and there was an immediate connection in her gaze. Without hesitation, the little girl ran toward Annabeth and wrapped her tiny little arms around her leg.

"Hi there! You must be Annabeth," the child exclaimed with and enthusiastic smile.

Annabeth, surprised by the demigods actions, knelt down to the girls level and smiled a motherly smile, "That's me, and whats your name?"

The girl grinned, "My name's Abigail but everyone calls me Abby! I like you, you're nice,"

Annabeth couldn't help but grin, "I like you too Abby, what brings you to camp?"

As Abby excitedly shared her story of arriving to camp with a goat man, Annabeth realized something strange, "Abby, how did you know my name? Have we met before?"

"Nope," the girl giggled, "I just knew, it's like when you meet someone and you know you're going to be friends," the girl jumped into Annabeth's arms, allowing her to be picked up and  Annabeth turned to look at Percy, who had joined them a moment before.

Annabeth and him exchanged a puzzled glance.

Abby pointed at Annabeth, "This is Annabeth, Percy, she is really nice,"

Percy gave her his trouble maker grin, "I know Annabeth already, she's my wife, I'm not so sure I've met you before," he teased, tickling Abby.

"Do you know any other Annabeths?" Annabeth asked when the girl stopped shrieking from the tickling.

Abby considered the question, "I don't think so, I just feel like I already knew you?"

Percy cocked an eyebrow, "Hey Abby, do you feel like you know me or any of these other campers?"

"I know you, you're Percy, the one who can make water do cool stuff," She hesitated and looked around the other campers, Annabeth was still holding on to her, "I don't know these people though, only you two were in my dreams,"

"Dreams?" Percy and Annabeth said in unison.

"Yeah dreams," Abby repeated, "they were good dreams and we felt like a family,"

Abby dismissed the question, reaching for a butterfly that was floating in the air while Percy shared a puzzled look with Chiron and Annabeth.

"Well sometimes, the best adventures start with dreams," Percy ruffled Abby's hair and the campers laughed.
