~Skip morning and breakfast~

Rosé POV

Today was quite the early day as everyone awoke from their peaceful sleep to the loud ringing of phone calls from Jennie's mother. She had mentioned we had to wake up early today, but I didn't think it'd be that early. Since Jen was still sleeping at the time, I picked up the call from my phone and turned hers off. I was still asleep when Ms. Kim began yelling out the plan for today, so I had no idea what was going on until she said, "if you guys are late, I will kill you, you have to follow the schedule!" then hung up on me. I gulped at the seriousness in her voice and in matters of seconds I was up and looking at the schedule for today.

After all of that I woke Jen up and told her what her mom had said, so she immediately got up as well and we both changed into shorts and tank tops as we didn't mind getting these clothes wet.

We arrived at the dolphin sanctuary aquarium that was only 20 minutes away so we walked as fast as we could to get there on time. On the way there we saw Lia and Chungha also rushing to get there on time, so we laughed and caught up to them.

We had finally arrived and made it past security and the lobby registration, though thankfully it seemed that Jennie's parents had rented the place out for us, since nobody else was here. The instructors led us to where Jennie's parents, Ella, the boys, the uncles, and aunts were, then handed everybody some wetsuits fit to everyone's sizes. We all quickly changed then came back out and hopped into the water where the dolphins were.

"Wow this is actually pretty cool." I admit and Jennie nods in agreement. "YAY, we're going to play with Dolphins!" Ella cheered cutely making everyone giggle. Before the dolphins were led out, the instructors were giving us some rules for our safety and the safety of the dolphins. After that the gates opened and the dolphins came swimming up super-fast. The dolphins started doing tricks and spins and all kinds of different things. "Woahh awesome!" Jake cheered along with Liam and the uncles. After that amazing performance the dolphins calmed down a bit and approached us, with the call from the instructors. They peeped their heads out and they were so cute! Everyone got to kiss the dolphins on the tip of their nose, and it was so cute I was a bit jealous though when Jennie kissed the dolphin with her own will because it was totally unfair, I deserve her kisses too!

"Hey Rosé, if it's not too much to ask could you sing a whistle note?" one of the instructors asked. "Ohh uh yea sure, why?" I was a little confused. "Well, if the whistle note is high enough the dolphins might react to it." she finished off. "Ohh, okay, yea I can try!" I say and prepare my voice. I took a couple deep breaths then started singing and then I hit my whistle note and the dolphins screeched happily at me and jumped through the water amazed. Everyone laughed at the reactions of the dolphins, including me because they were just too cute.

~1 hour later~

We spent a lot of time with the dolphins, but the instructors said it was time for them to go eat, so we hopped out of the water, but stayed in our wetsuits because for the next activity we were going to need them. "What did you guys think?" Lia asked the group. "They were quite cute and very friendly too." Aunt Jessica replied. "Yea the tricks they were doing were absolutely incredible!" Uncle Sean responded. We all agreed and made our way to the snowcone bar for a little snack. I saw Jen lingering back just staring out at the view and scenery, so I approached her. "Hey" she turned and looked at me, "Hi, Rosie." she said back. "What are you thinking about?" I stared off into the distance where she was looking before. She turned to look and said, "nothing much, just that I'm happy." I smiled and continued, "What are you happy about?" she chuckled, "I didn't realize how much I missed being with my family because work was always my main focus, until now and I'm happy, I'm happy I'm here with them and with you..." she finished off the last part quietly, but I still heard it. I smiled and looked over at her instead, "I'm happy that you're happy Jen, I don't get to do this a lot either, my parents are well up in heaven and my sister lives in Australia, so it's hard to do, you know, family stuff." she looked right at me when I said and her face dropped, "Rosie... you lost your parents?" she asked quietly, staring up into my eyes searching for something. "When I was nine, and my sister was thirteen, we were with my parents driving home, when some drunk guy was driving at like 100 miles per hour and crashed into us and three other cars. Everyone in the three other cars, including my parents, had passed away, except me and my sister. We were all rushed to the hospital immediately. I had passed out and my sister lost consciousness, it wasn't until we woke up that they told us about the death of our parents. We were sent to our only grandma as she was our guardian if anything happened and lived with her until she had passed away from old age. By that time we were old enough to live on our own and even though we were traumatized and so depressed, my parents always told me that no matter what they would always be by my side even if I couldn't see them, so I became a singer to make my parents proud and take care of the people I love." I told her a small tear was leaving my eye, which she quickly grabbed my face and wiped the tear with her thumb.
