Sounds of combat filled the bare warehouse. Strangely enough, most of the sounds being made were music. Along with the occasional shriek, melodies drifted throughout the air.

In the large warehouse, multiple bodies littered the ground, almost surrounding the two figures who were exchanging blows.

One of the two figures was horribly deformed. One might use the word 'monster' to describe something so gruesome. As if drawn by a toddler, the being appeared scribbled in red and black. If you looked close enough through the darkness, you could make out a set of fangs and limbs.

A long arm belonging to the 'monster' made a large arch towards the second figure, a human.

The human, dressed in green and white, clenched a lyre in their hands before taking a hit from the 'monster'.

A loud boom echoed in the warehouse as the human made contact with the ground.

The 'monster' let out a proud shriek as it bore down on it's opponent, who had landed on the ground.

Annoyed, the human glared up at the 'monster' with bright aqua eyes, visible under dark hair that had been made into braids at the end.

"It'll take a lot more than that to kill me, you FUCKER!" The human screamed.

Brushing off dirt from their skirt, the human muttered curses under their breath and stood up.

"Prepare to DIE, you dimwit!" They cursed.

As if understanding their words, the 'monster' let out a low growl.

They raised their lyre, symbolizing the continuation of the battle.

The human continued shouting angrily at the 'monster', as if it understood a word they were saying.

"I'M GOING TO BLAST YOUR EARS OFF YOU STUPID-!"

But just as the human was about to finish their insult, they were overcome by dreadfully cold feeling.

On instinct, they turned away from the 'monster', switching their attention to the cause of the sudden drop in temperature.

That was their mistake, as the moment they turned away, their prey was stolen.
All it took was a moments pause, for a new figure to crash through the roof of the warehouse.

Quickly turning their attention back to the 'monster', they came came face to face with a pair of stormy blue eyes.

Silence filled the air for a moment, the 'monster' couldn't be heard at all.

The silence only lasted a moment before it was broken though.

"YOU! WHAT DID YOU JUST DO?! I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF SOMETHING, YOU IDIOT!" The one dressed in green shouted angrily.

The the figure who had only recently arrived stared down at them.

"You were taking too long. I was waiting until you'd finally drop dead, but I got impatient." The figure coldly replied.

"UGH! WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?!" The human dressed in green fiercely asked.

"What's yours? You've been fighting a witch for six minutes, Kohana. That alone is a serious problem." The other human harshly answered.

The surprised look on Kohana's face only lasted a second before it was replaced with anger again.

"Just who do you think you are, ruining my fight? Huh, idiot? And how do you now my name, stalker?" Kohana indignantly asked, poking the figure in front of her.

"Ren Yotasuke. I'm not your stalker either. It isn't my fault Tsunkei can't keep his mouth shut." Ren replied, swatting Kohana's hand away. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have unfinished business with the witch behind you."

Ren moved some of his blue hair out of his face with his hand, and Kohana gripped their lyre.

Kohana glared at him.

Ren glared back.

And it was at this moment that they both knew they were going to hate each other's guts.

Kohana clenched their teeth together, literally seething with anger.

Another long silence filled the warehouse as they had a stare down, which was eventually broken by Kohana yelling.

"UGH! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU! I WILL!" She screamed, turned away from him.

"I'd like to see you try!" Ren called out, as Kohana started to storm away from him.

"YOU IDIOT! YOU CAN'T EVEN KILL THE WITCH! ALL YOU DID WAS FREEZE IT, DIMWIT!" She yelled.

The once moving and shrieking witch was now encased in a crystal-like shell of ice.

From his side, Ren pulled out a long and shiny sword. In a quick motion, the chunk of ice containing the witch was diced into pieces.

Kohana watched from farther away, becoming angrier at his success.

She grumbled and headed for the door, cursing Ren to death.

The cold temperature hasn't dropped, meaning Ren was still behind them in the warehouse.

Turning back one more time before she exited, she stuck up her two middle fingers.

"Go die!" She yelled.

"You wish." Ren replied, unimpressed.

bro i didn't check the spelling on this so lmk if I made some errors! Also like sorry if I didn't write Kohana properly! This is my first time writing a character that isn't mine!
