2 weeks after Crisis

"Kate, baby, wake up," Kara told her girlfriend, who grumbled 5 more minutes. Kara suppressed a chuckle,"You said that five minutes ago," she told her, "We have to go shopping, so I can have more clothes here before I go back to Gotham," Kara added and with a sigh, Kate reluctantly got up, stating it was only because she wanted Kara over more.

Kara smiled and gave her girlfriend a kiss, Kate smiled into the kiss, "God, I love when you do that," She mumbled against the Blondes lips. Kara smiled, "You're gonna need a shit ton of make-up," Kara spoke up as she pointed to Kate's neck. Grabbing her phone off the counter, Kate opened her camera and looked at her neck, she gasped and glabred a Kara who had a shot eating grin on her face, "Don't look at me like that, you literally begged me to do that," Kara said referring back to Kate's 'If you want someone to know what's yours, you should mark it' advice.

"That isn't what I meant, and you know it," Kate replied, rolling her eyes as she kissed her girlfriend once more before getting dressed. Kara had her earpiece in so that she could stay in contact with National City. Kate admired that about Kara. She always wanted to protect her city no matter what.

"Babe, you ready?!" Kate yelled as she slipped on her shoes, Kara then sped into the living room as she gave Kate a thumbs up.

Kate smiled and shook her head. The two then went about their day, buying Kara clothes, Kate wanting to spoil Kara against her protest (that ended with Kara having a new pair of diamond earrings, and a promise ring to match with it), Even though they've been together for 2 weeks, they could tell that they loved each other.

They had shared a few kisses here and there. Kara was smiling the whole day, well, that was until she got called into work. She gave Kate a kiss after she put her clothes in the closet, along with her spare suit. She then took off back to National City in her main suit.

"What is it?" Kara grunted as she landed on the DEO's balcony, "The Wonderland gang is in National City. They've taken hostages." Alex said, and Kara groaned. "I am so done with Alice," Kara grumbled, "Alice?" Alex questioned, "She's their leader." Kara said, folding her arms.

"And you know that how?" Alex pushed, "You spend a week in Gotham, you learn things. Now, I'm calling Batwoman." Kara said as she grabbed her phone from her boot, "You have Batwomans phone number?" James asked incredulously, Kara nodded and pressed dial.

'Missed me already?' Kara heard on the other side of the call.

"Yeah, a bit, but that's not why I'm calling. Alice is in National City, and she's taking hostages." Kara spoke in one breath. She could hear swearing on the other line, 'I'll be there in 15,' Kate said and hung up, Kara looked back up at her friends and sister, "What?" She asked, "We're not gonna talk about how and why you have Batwomans phone number or why you were in Gotham?" Alex asked as she squinted her eyes at her little sister.

"No and no," Kara said as an alarm dinged on the computer that once belonged to Winn and now to Brainy went off. "Alice is going live now. We'll have her location in 2 minutes," Brainy spoke.

"'If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense,' said Alice. Supergirl, it's a pleasure to be in the same city as you. But, when you were in Gotham, I noticed you've gotten close to a certain bat. You ruined my entire plan, honestly, but no worries, I came up with a new one. This will be the world where I win. Ta Ta!" Alice said as she logged off, "Brainy, were you able to track her?" Kara asked, "I'm afraid not, Supergirl." The intellect replied.

The sound of a grapple hook is heard, and Kara smiled.

"Took you long enough," Kara said as she walked toward the Paragon of Courage, "I said I would be here in 15 minutes, I was her in 5." Kate shrugged.
