When the girl's enigmatic Isolated Space which she explains is called an Alterra finally broke down, it almost looks as if a filter was lifted from the world itself, revealing, Dian who is already in position to execute the plan the girl made for him. With the purpose of bracing for the impact that would come from performing this maneuver, he opened his legs wide while bending his body forward, his hands held together downward with an open palm reminiscent of a blooming flower except this one would be booming power instead. This "stance" if it can even be called that reminded him of the dumb poses he would bust out with Sandi in the forest beside the football field, fooling around in an attempt to emulate the guts and style of the anime characters they love so much. Only this time in contrast to that he's not just doing it to goof around but it would actually help him get out of this mess.
Sometimes when they have these goof off stand off sessions, they would also to face off against the village chief's son and his gang of bullies, which they handled quite easily by fleeing off from that pack of wolves as fast as possible, quitting the scene of a would be slaughter with a howl of laughter. Sadly, the secret technique of running away wouldn't be adequate to save him this time, so much that he had to take matters to the skies.
"Now, feel the air as it flows around you, brushing your skin. As you can not grab hold of it with Hands like mine, capture them with your mind instead, visualize them all gathering in your hands like a big ball of energy. Let your imagination run free." The girl whispered right to his ears after shrinking herself to the size of the palm, which should've made her seem resemblant to a fairy but knowing her personality she's more fitting to be called an imp instead, tempting him into evil while flying over his shoulder as little devils does.
"Oh, that's... a rather easy thing to imagine. I think I can do it." Said the boy as he sucked the air in the area into a visible ball of wind, warping reality to bring his imagination into fruition, he even unconsciously started to move his hand around it as if to shape the power collected in his hands.
The winds were stirred into a rage as they are drawn at increasingly powerful speeds towards the ball formed in Dian's hands, creating a whirlwind of violent air with him as the eye of the storm. The raging winds the boy holds almost gives the sense of a tornado forced to fit into his palms, struggling to break free out of the strangle of his hands, desperate to destroy everything around it to its last breath. As this is the first time Dian is doing this, if he's isn't in a life or death situation the boy wouldn't probably have been able to keep enough tact to tame the wild element, letting it blow hard on his face than he'll ever be. At that point he would just let the shame kill him for looking like such a sham.
However, if it's a monster they're expecting from him, then he wouldn't let them down. He'll be a monster, alright. But just not the kind they're thinking of.
"You are doing it quite messily, but that's just a testament to how strong you are. The tempest within your hands now is but a gentle breeze in comparison to the one that constantly surrounds you. You truly are a fine specimen, so I hope you don't let that power go to waste. Show me the strength of your destiny."
"Please don't talk about me like I'm some sort of property..."
She then giggled amusedly "I suppose that is fair. Limitation breeds creativity, but I have a feeling you are the kind to truly shine when you are allowed to spread your wings. For now just focus on manipulating your gravity to lessen your weight, to help yourself grasp the latter more easily. Once you got the hang of it you would eventually be able to soar to the skies, but as you are now that is still a tall order. Just make sure you manage to get high enough, and you would not need much skill to reach your freedom."
"Fine, I'll... do my best!" Dian let out a grunt as he shifted his focus from the ball to the the force of gravity itself to weaken its pull on him, in hopes that it would help him ride the air better.
