The fire pillar then rages on for a few moments due to the wind ball fanning its flames, devouring the girl like the jaws of hell itself. For a second, Dian thought that he actually managed to somehow pull his plan off and took the girl down, despite the fact that she's so far beyond his league in every aspect that the difference is heaven and earth. He continued to believe that thought for a while, until he took a few steps back as he realized that there's not even a whisper of the sound someone should make when they are literally burning to their death, an anomaly that forebodes a grim future. The little chuckle that came from the middle of that pillar is everything he needed to destroy all his delusions of victory and confirms all his worst fears.

That tiny childish laughter is then immediately followed by a demonic roar of immeasurable terror, a frightening combination of something resembling a pained human and a rabid beast, enough to strike fear into the hearts of the wildest animal. The pillar of fire then takes a more complex shape as it transforms into a feminine figure, that eventually reveals itself to be one of a devil's as it grew sharp claws, fangs, two bat-like wings, and a pair of horns crooked together into the centre of its head. The stare of the diabolical construct's two eyes deadly boring holes straight into his soul.

The horror doesn't just stop there for the boy, as abruptly dozens of smaller demonic heads bursts forth from the main body towards every direction. Every single one of them moving rapidly and chaotically all over the place burning the trees in their way, while wailing in agony like souls lost in hell, lighting the wildfire anew in this previously safe zone. Distracted by the sight of the hellscape, Dian couldn't react in time to the last one heading in his direction, which was clearly a strike targeted specially at him.

With both his hands still outstretched forward, Dian then attempts to manipulate his Bubble by solidifying it into a shield, in hopes of minimizing the brunt of the fiery demon head's burn. Alas, that wasn't sufficient to hold off the attack as the head pierced past his defenses and nearly hits the right side of his face and shoulders if not for him quickly making an evasive maneuver by jumping to the side till his body hits the ground. Unfortunately, he failed to completely save himself from it, as the heat the flames radiated was intense enough to still incinerate him from afar, catching him in an abnormally hot nigh infernal blaze that burned the skin of his face and lit the shoulder part of his clothes on fire until it sticks to his skin.

The boy's screams of agony as he writhed in pain on the ground is the only one needed to legitimize this place as a living hell.

"Wh-what the hell was that?! That can't be just a normal fire!" Dian wailed on as he struggles to gather the focus he needed to put the fire down with his abilities.

To numb some of the pain, Dian stuffed his mouth with the collar of his clothing and bite on it, then used a bit of Alterealism to put the fire off along with tearing off the part of the clothes it burned from his skin since he can't heal himself with it. The burnt parts didn't dig deep into his shoulder, a fact that does not make it any less worse for him as he screamed into the fabric of his collar, so that at least the world wouldn't know his pain. It's a blessing that even with the smoke clouding Dian's mind he still got the brilliant idea to cool the air surrounding him and especially his burning wounds, but by just the right amount so he won't make them ache more.

For now, Dian felt that he is too weak to lift himself from the ground, so he opted to instead roll his body towards the demonic construct to observe its next movements that might just spell his death for sure. What he found when he returned his attention to it is a frightening sight as the girl's silhouette appears more clear behind the red curtain, before the devil lady's abdomen area opened like a door with ribcages jutting out as she stepped out of it. Looking at him with a serene saccharine sweet smile as she pulled all her Phantasmal Hands to return behind her back, which she used in her thousand infernal demon heads barrage. Curiously, her gray Halos have returned except they only surrounds her hands.
