In Coimbatore

Karthikeyan was in his office. Calmly reading one of the document.

Someone knocked his cabin.

"Come in"

Vikram Adityan came inside with cold face as same as his best friend karthikeyan.

"Hi karthi"
He greeted him settling in the couch beside office library.

Karthikeyan stood up from his place and settled himself opposite to Vikram.

Asked Vikram smirking at karthi

"Cut the crap and spill it out. I know, uncle informed me just now"

Karthi sighed and took a deep breath

"I am getting married"

" Before you say anything I just want to clarify something with you. You know how our South Indian marriages works right? And how marriages in your family works right? By any chance if you are planning to get divorced after one year then please abort that plan. I am never going to support you in that and don't spoil that girls life. She is from village and you know how village people's mindset about these divorce and all. So if you are planning to divorce, just now itself say no to this marriage otherwise live your life da. I have a feeling that this girl will definitely be a light in your dark life, so try to understand her and be happy. Now say what is your opinion? "
Vikram said making karthi think deeply

"Umm I know divorce won't be the solution so I thought some other thing but now I think I shouldn't do that. Thanks Vikram I will try to change myself and be happy"
Karthi said getting up and giving Vikram a brotherly hug.

"That's good to hear. You deserve to be happy karthi. After that incident I never saw you laugh or smile wholeheartedly but I wanted you to be like my old best friend. I wish I will see him soon"

After Vikram's departure, karthi indulged himself in documents and he himself don't know when it was already 3pm and he have to leave to his native at 5pm.

He checked his phone and his father's missed call was there.

He called him back.

Karthi:
"Hello appa"

Kathirvelan:
"Hello karthi, be on time, we are leaving now and don't disappoint me"

He hanged up the call and called one of his peon.

He said and hanged up the intercom
