Readers pov:

I was walking a bit around the new hotel I just moved in. I mean the rooms are totally for free as long as you stay nice or smth I didn't really listened anyway. But somehow i like it here... The athmosphair, the vibe.. it's just so calming and warm, way different than the busy town outside.

No ones pov:

Suddenly, when you turned around the corner, you bumbed into someone. You needed to look up at the tall snake that was standing infront of you

you thought before realising that you were still standing very close to each other. You quickly stepped a bit back back
"Sorry"
You said before turning around to walk away.
"Wait-"
Said the snake
"your face doesn't sss-seam familiar to me. Are you new here?"
he asked distrustful.
" well... I just moved in so... "
"Oh- well then let me intoduce myself"
Said the snake with a little deferentially bow
"my name is sss-sir pentious"
"Ok... Great" you turned around again.
"Wait you didn't told me your name? "

There was an awkward moment of silence before you ran off.

you said to yourself before entering your new room and slamming the door closed.

"Shit why i said that!"
I asked myself.
"Ok just keep breathing, he'll probably think it was just a joke or smth"

I was so tired and stressed that i just laid down on my bed and instantly fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning to some damn loud noises from downstairs.
"The fuck is this shit now"
i asked, stumbling out of my room.
"Morning? "
i said, finding all gathered together in the launge.
"Oh great we were allready waiting for you:)"
greeted me charly. I knew her so far from the check in when i first got my room.
"Yes ehm- hi"
i mumbled while sitting down on the couch.
"Sooo i asume you haven't got to meet the others yet?"
She asked. Without waiting for an answer, she just kept talking
"So this is vaggi my assistant, and this is husk out bartender, and this is Niffty our... ".
I didn't really listened to her. My sight driftet of to all the different faces in the room till i saw the snake from yesterday again. Our eyes met for a moment and i could feel my face getting hot.
"... and this is sir pentious"
said charly breaking our eye contact.
"Yeah we allready got the plesure to meet"
interrupted sir pentious charly.
"... Well- that's good! When you allready know each other, you could do our next group exercise together! "
she said in her usuall excited voice.
I flinched
me? With the hot snake??
" wha- what exercise?"
"I'm glad you asked!"
Answered charly
"Because today were gonna dooo *a short pause* trust exercises :) "
with the last sentence they revealed a small stage with a banner that said {you guess it} "trust exercise"
"And this is how you play"
she said excited while climbing up the stage and jumping off the edge with vaggi catching her.
"Oh no"
i mumbled to myself with the thought of me being in the arms of the snake man.
Fuck! i think i'm blushing again.
I dared an side eye to sir pentious who, i guess, noticed that i was eyeballing him 'cause he shrugged and looked in my direction that made our eyes meet again. I didn't knew what to do so i just waved with a dumb smile on my face. He did the same but seemed a bit confused.
I looked how some others did it but then charly cane over to me
"Ok now your turn :) "
"Oh- i do..don't think thats necessary"
"Oh don't worry i assure you that sir pentious will catch you"
"Yes but-"
With no further hesitation she draged me on the stage
"Break a leg ;)!"
Was the last thing i heared from her. Suddenly the room felt dark and cold. Everyone was stareing at me and i could hear my own heartbeat. I closed my eyes and forced myself to not further think about the people looking at me and sir pentious. I took a deep breath in and stepped over the edge still with my eyes closed.
The feeling of the free fall stoped so i opened my eyes again. I flinched and my eyes widened when i noticed that sir pentious was holding me in his arms.
I mean atleast he catched me am i right? I thought to myself. But still i felt my face blushing after realising that he didn't let me down again.
I cleared my throat
"ehm- you.. can let me down again..."
I said still looking up to him.
"Oh of course.."
He said before dropping me. I fell a little hard but he helped me up.
"sss-sorry" he hissed before reaching out his hand. They felt soft and warm.
"No worry.. I'm allright"
i said wth a smile on my face trying to seem friendly.

After everyone left the launge to go do whatever they need to do (idk) i left alone with sir pentious still sitting on the couch.
"So you have any plants for this evening or just sitting on the couch?"
I asked trying to do some small talk.
"No i have nothing left to do. All my machines are perfectly prepared"
he said
"Oh right charly told me you were an inventor! "
"Correct! The best one in hell"
he added.
Maybe... I thought but i didn't wanted to be mean
"Whait you said prepared? For what??" Now i was a little more interested.
"Yes prepared for the next fight tommorow with that- bitch cherry bomb! She keeps stealing my territory i first, but fairly, stole from her"
"Sounds interesting"
i dared the move to slide a bit closer on the couch to him... But he didn't noticed anyway
" interessting indeed but also dangerous! -...I mean dangerous for her not for me. My machines will definitely win this time i assure you that..."
I let him talk further on about his machines and what new he invented. It wasn't Really interesting but i loved listening to his voice and the way he reportet about the things that interested him. I moved a bit closer to him, letting my impulses controll me. In a short pause he made inbetween his speech about projectors with build-in bombs i leaned forward for a kiss.
He surely didn't expected that but still let it happened.
The soft touch of his lips felt warm and comforting to me and the arms he placed around my torso let me felt safe and held.
I wanted to hold this feeling and never lose it again. I wanted smth just like this every day every week every evening. I surely didn't belive in love at first sight but now i realy do.
