Ik y'all still waiting for the chaggy oneshot (or overall jst smt from hazbin hotel) but i have bad writing block idk if it's bc of fluff (i'm just easier wth writing smut) or if it's jst me being bad at writing in general but here are some tips for writing smut oneshots bc idk 👍

Tip one:
Add some dialog!!!
Dialog helps describing the plot and what is happening right now. I mean no one likes to read a story with only actions
Tip two:
Research!!!
Research is an important step if u want to write smut expecially if u don't know much about it you don't wanna give falls information in your first smut oneshot 👍
Tip three:
Don't write that much detail!!!
It's a Oneshot after all and too much detail (expecially in the introduction part) is kinda borring. Don't get me wrong there are some people who like much plot but personally the detail should be put in the actual smut part.
Tip four:
Be unoriginal!!!
Do your own thing. You can still use inspiration but try to be a little special. instead of writing "he crawled on top of her" write "she felt the friction between them when he slowly moved up her body" it just gives the scene more live.
Tip five:
Use Foreplay!!!
Described Foreplay helps increasing the friction between two characters and it helps develop the actual sex scene.
Tip six:
Emotions!!!
Emotions are like one of the most important parts of smut fics. Sex is a very intimate moment for two characters to share that also helps the character development (that is not very necesarry for oneshots but anyway). Emotions help to tell the reader if it's for, instance, a toxic relationship or if it's meant to be hatesex etc.
Tip seven:
Inspration!!!
Inspiration is very important for writing smut ecspecially when you are a beginner bc smut is for many difficult to write. Watching porn or reading other smut fic can give u inspiration and ecspecially with porn that helps u visiulize what u wanna write. Of course it's not suiting for everyone but it is just a tip.
Tip eight:
Be carefull with what you write!!!
It is important you don't put anything in your smut oneshot that could might offense someone. Thats why it is also necesarry to write triggerwarnings on every smut fic you publish.
Tip nine:
Don't share your smut with family!!!
Now if you have a very chill family then it doesn't really matter but mostly people you know will be cringed or laugh at it until you wanna delet your smut fic >:0 . I only share my fanfics with two people ik who wouldn't do it (grüße an die füße).
Tip ten:
Be comftable!!!
Don't write smut if you are just doing it for other people or money bc it will just not be good if your smut fic is forced. But mostly important you wont feel good writing it no matter what you do and it will be overall a very bad experience. So stay safe 👍👍
