i got ready and leah drove us to finley's house.

he was already waiting outside, leaning against the fence of his house.

he got in the car and leaned over to kiss my cheek.

"so do i get any hints or anything" he asked.

"yeah we're doing an escape room" i said.

"cool i've always wanted to do an escape room" he said excitedly.

we arrived and got out of the car.

"you kids have fun, ring me when you need picking up yeah" leah said.

"thanks le, love you" i said.

"love you too darling, see you later" she said and drove off.

fin took my hand and we walked in. we got taken down to a room and then the worker told us some rules about the room.

we went in and she locked the door.

"shit i'm kinda scared" i admitted.

"don't worry gorgeous" he laughed.

the timer started and we began searching the room for clues or anything that would be useful.

i found a 4 number code but there was nothing to put it into.

fin found a key under the bed which unlocked the wardrobe. inside was a skeleton causing me to scream and jump.

"it's only pretend ba- gorgeous" he said.

"still scary" i said.

at the bottom was a locked box. we put in the 4 numbers and it unlocked. inside was a paper with a clue on it.

there were 3 rooms that we needed to unlock.

as the time ticked on, we were actually quite good at solving the clues.

we got to the last room which was the bathroom. in there we have to find the key which will unlock the main door for the escape room.

i walked in first and there was blood splatters on the walls and the floor. fin started looking in the cupboards so i went to look in the bath and the toilet.

huge mistake.

inside was a head. not a real one it was a robot but at first glance it looks real.

"fuck" i screamed and tripped backwards.

"shit al are you okay" he asked and helped me up.

"that was fucking scary" i said.

we only had a matter of minutes left and we still hadn't found anything in this room.

there was a light switch that i pressed which was purple. on the walls there were numbers written in invisible ink.

"shit that box from the last room" fin said. he went back and got it and i started reading the numbers out.

we tried it in different combinations until eventually we got it right.

and there it was.

the key to the main door.

we got it and opened the door. outside was a person in a mask stood waiting to scare us.

i screamed and punched them when i saw them.

"shit i'm so sorry" i said as they put their hand to their face.

"you got a lot of power behind that punch" fin laughed.
"i thought i was gonna be the one protecting you"
