On a Sunday dawn, everyone in Davenport Tower is having dinner, while evryone at Mighty Force Headquarters are working or enjoying the early evening as usual.
When suddenly a mysterious blackout occurs, the lights all over the world go out and after exactly three seconds they turn on again.
Chase was in the command center when it happened, when the headquarters lights come back on the emergency lights go off.
"What happened?" Bree appears "I don't know" Chase says, Harper and Adam approach.
"it was a blackout on the plane carrier. Harper, you didn't sense that because of your energy manipulation?" Chase asks "Uh no that's weird, there was no connection to the headquarters power system at all" Harper says
"what?" Kaz says approaching whit Oliver "Yes, I checked the aircraft carrier's electrical systems today and there was nothing wrong" Adam says.
"We have no records of any damage caused by the blackout" Melody says holding a tablet and Douglas follows her.
Everyone looks at each other in confusion.
While in the Davenport tower, the entire team was having dinner when it occurred.
When the light comes back on, the TV that was previously off turns on by itself "that's weird" Leo says "It was just a blackout" Grace says.
"uh...a worldwide blackout?" Finn shows his cell phone with posts from people all over the world updated about the blackout "what?" AJ takes out his cell phone.
"What caused this?" Daniel says "I don't know, but whatever it is... it's something big" Leo says, getting up worried.
Meanwhile in an alley in the center of Centium City, at the time of the blackout a type of portal is formed, and from this portal a mysterious and shadowy figure comes out.
He wears black clothes, a hood and a mask covering his face and it is only possible to see the figure's glowing red eyes.
He holds a type of device in one hand and a black sword in the other, with the silver blade broken, he closes the portal and continues dragging the broken blade of the sword on the alley wall.

The next day at Mighty Force headquarters, everyone investigates the cause of the blackout.
Leo and Grace go to the command center "Did you see the blackout yesterday?" Leo asks "Not exactly cuz everything was dark" Adam says, Leo rolls his eyes.
"yeah, we did" Chase says "Do you know what it was?" Grace asks "no, but it wasn't an ordinary power grid blackout" Harper says "what do you mean?" Bree asks.
"if it was a global power grid blackout it wouldn't have affected the plane carrier" Chase says "It makes sense since our power sources are from a separate electrical grid," Douglas says.
"So was it caused by some kind of wave or something?" Leo says "Of course not Leo, we're not at sea" Grace chuckles, Adam hugs her covering her mouth, she laughs.
"I don't know, but we don't have records of any type of radiation or solar wave...nothing" Chase says, Harper thinks looking at the graphs.
"Wait, what about distortions in the gravitational field?" Harper says, Chase frowns "what?" Chase says.
"there's already been records of distortions in the gravitational field...once" Melody says.
"how do you know that?" Douglas says "When I was working at college and we were studying black holes... they called me along with other astronomers and scientists to investigate a temporary distortion in the gravitational field that was registered" Melody says.
