Angel Kisses

Emma's POV

"Fine." I stormed out of the room and up to my room. My mom was going out to eat with my dad so they said I had to watch the kids. After a lot of disagreeing I finally gave in.

Yes my parents deserved to go out but I have a life too. I had two months left of my high school life and needed to study. Even if I was just going to stare at the ceiling, mentally complaining of all the things I need to get done to successfully graduate.

Jumping as a knock screamed at my door. Sighing deeply, I murmured at come in . Quietly, my dad opens the door and peaks his head in, "Hey, you ok?"

I looked up retorted, "Yeah, dad, actually I'm over-joyed to be watching those spoiled brats." He looked at me and replied, "Come on Emm don't be like that." I tilted my head back slightly and grumbled, "Fine, but you and mom owe me. Oh and can a couple of friends come over? We will keep eyes on Dumb and Dumber I promise." Nodding, he smiled and shut the door. Feeling a sense of triumphed I quickly found my phone and gave the go ahead to my friends. Dropping my phone to the bed, I make my way to the living room. 

When I finally reached the living room, I could hear my brother and my sister  fighting over what cartoon they were going to watch. I grabbed the remote out of Henry's hand and said, "If you two don't stop fighting, you will both be in your bedrooms." Henry dramatically fell to the floor and screamed. Elizabeth pointed and laughed at Henry. Eyes wide, I turn away and head to the couch. Henry and Elizabeth finally stopped fighting and decided on a cartoon.

Moments later, the door burst open reveling three of my best friends.

In walked Autumn, Molly and Daniel. 

Autumn was the loud, friendly, out-going blonde, who spends most of her time swinging pompons in the air. Most of the time, her long locks were fixed into messy waves. Her blue eyes were the biggest thing on her face.

Molly was the flirtatious and outspoken brunette, who spends most over her time finding the next fling. She kept her hair straight and her eyes were always shining due to perfect makeup.

 Daniel was the all of the above. He was everything you'd want in a guy. Tall. Very handsome. Nice. Except, he's is into guys. He was tall with light brown hair that was always fixed perfectly.

Molly walked over (START HERE)

We all gathered ourselves back together and an awkward silence broke through. But was soon broken by my little sister screaming like someone had murdered her. I sighed and slid off the stool and walked into the living-room.

Henry had taken away her favorite doll and was trying to rip the arm off. I ran over to him and pulled it out of his grip and handed it back to Elizabeth. I looked at Henry and screamed, "What do you think you're doing? Go to your room. And don't turn anything on or I will......throw you out the window." He gave me a 'go to hell' look and stumped off to his room. I glance down at Elizabeth and say, "Looks like you get the t.v all to yourself, Izzy." She smiled and grabbed the remote. I walked back into the kitchen and slumped back into my chair.

"You are so mean. He's like seven."

I laughed and retorted, "Shutup Daniel. He was picking on a five year old. So I yelled at him." Everyone chuckled and started talking again.

We sat there for two hours talking. All of them ranting about their boyfriends. Daniel had Leo. Molly had Nick. And Autumn had Jason. I nodded and commented when asked. Daniel stopped talking in mid-sentence and said, "Hey Em what's wrong?" I glanced at all of them and quickly replied, "Nothing I'm fine." He nodded and questioned, "How come you don't have your boyfriend anymore. I know you guys ended it like two weeks ago but I don't think tou ever told any of us?" Molly and Autumn shook their heads and turned to stare at me. I looked down and whispered, "I don't wanna talk about it." Daniel climbed onto the table and sat infront of me. I looked down at my hands afraid tears would escape and embarrass me. Daniel grabbed my face and turned me to look at him. I looked at him from under my bangs and began, "Remember those girls that were messing with Carson that one morning by the stairs?" Daniel nodded as well as Autumn. I looked down as a tear ran down my face and choked out, "W-well I walked in on them. We were at his h-house and I quess sh-she somehow snuck in. And I had a phone call. I was on the phone for maybe thirty minutes. I walked in and sh-she was on top of him. I just st-stood there lik-like an idiot. He pushed her off and tried to get up but his pants were down so he fell to the ground. I r-ran out as fast as possible." Daniel turned his head slightly to the right to look at Molly and Autumn. I couldn't take it so I cried harder. I stood up and ran to the bathroom. And fell to the floor.

I sat there and thought about how I had giving my all to a guy that claimed he loved me but hurt me instead. I finally stood up after twenty minutes of crying and looked in the mirror. My mascara had left black streaks down my face and my eyes were red from crying. I sigh and open the door and run up to my room and apply more make-up.

Once I was somewhat satisfied I walked back down stairs. When I reached the kitchen I heard whispering. Daniel was ranting about wanting to kill Carson. Molly was saying how she warned me and Autumn was commenting only on what she knew. I gave up and walked into the kitchen all the way. They all turned to look at me. Daniel had returned to his seat and Molly and Autumn hadn't moved an inch. Daniel hopped off the stool and came over to give me a hug. I smiled and leaned into his hug. He pulled away and said, "Sorry, Em, I didn't mean to upset you. I just wanted to know 'cause we were all blah blah this and you just sat there." I smiled and replied, "I'm fine. I think I'm just being hormonal." He chuckled and smarted off, "When aren't you?" I push him and walk into the living-room to check on my siblings and they are both asleep. I smile and return to the kitchen. They are all standing and grabbing their stuff. I look at them all and say, "What the hell are you doing?" They all say in unison leaving. I groan and say, "Fine, fine but I'm not talking to you guys anymore." They all laugh and walk past me. Daniel stops and says, "I'll text you later. Bye." I wave back and walk to the door and lock it.

Once I had Henry and Elizabeth tucked away in bed and left a message for my parents on their door, I went to my bedroom. I took a quick shower and then climbed into bed. I looked up at the ceiling and prayed to myself, please don't let me see him tomorrow. I turned over and was fast asleep.
