Angel Kisses

Devils Reject.

"Emma.......Em....get up you're going to be late." I pulled the blankets over my head and moan in disagreement. My mom pulls them off and says, "Get up now." I sat up and screamed, "I'm up. Are you happy?" My mom stood up, smiled, and walked out. I got up and went to get dressed. I chose my black skinny jeans, a white tank-top, a red cardigan, and my matching wedges. I walked into my bathroom and scrunched my hair and put on my make-up. I brushed my teeth and put on deodorant. I took a quick glace in the mirror. I actually looked really good today.

I walked out of my bathroom and grabbed my phone, keys, purse, and backpack. I stopped to look at my room. Once I finally analyzes what needed to be clean I walked down stairs and into the kitchen were my mom was making Henry's lunch for school and was trying to keep Elizabeth occupied with her iPad. I walked up to my mom and kissed her on her cheek. I was about to grabbed an apple and leave when my mom questioned, "Do you work today?" I turned and nodded and said, "Yeah, why?" She smiled and replied, "Oh nothing. Today is mine and your dads anniversary. But I can ask Mrs. Langston to watch the kids." I smiled and chuckle, "I will pick them up after work. How much are you going to pay her if she agrees?" My mom holds up four fingers and I nodded and say, "I will pay her to. I have to go. Have a good day." I turn and walk out to my car. Once inside I turn my radio on and drive to school.

I park in my regular spot and get out. I walk into the main doors and notice Carson almost immediately and to make matters worse he walks over to me. I quickly try to dodge him but he grabs my wrist. I spin around into his arms and he leans his head down on my forehead and says in a very sexy voice, "Hey baby I've missed you." I look up at him and notice all his friends have crowded around. I smile and whisper, "Well you wouldn't have to worry about it, if you hadn't done what you did." He smiles and whispers back, "I'm so sorry. Please forgive me." I roll my eyes and say a little louder, "Why in the world would I do that. That's the worst thing you could do to me." He  clenches his teeth and says, "Don't talk to me like that. I have needs and you didn't meet them. So another girl did." I push him back and begin to walk away again but he grabs my waist and pulls me back. I spin around and glare at him. His friends are now starring at us with wondering eyes. He kisses me hard and I pull back and say, "What the hell. I don't want to be with you anymore. You are a dog." All his friends ooed and chuckled at this. Carson looks down at me and screams, "You're a bitch. You don't deserve me. You were nothing." I smile and whisper, "Then let me go." He smiles back and replies in a quiet voice, "Not even if you asked nicely. I love you so I will be with you." I scoffed and challenged, "Really? I don't love you. You don't get everything you want. I will file a restraining order." He leans so close to me that I can feel his lips on my neck and whispers, "Baby, that's just a piece of paper." And with that the bell signaling that school started buzzed loudly. I pulled out of his grip and strolled to my first hour. I sat in my seat and stared forward and waited for Mr. Kindle.

After maybe twenty minutes of waiting for our teacher another teacher came in and  told us that our teacher wasn't here and since we were doing so good we could stay in here. As soon as she left the classroom became noisy and loud. I pulled my phone out and plugged my headphones in and drowned them all out with the sound of music.

The rest of the morning went by slow. I watched the clock all third hour. When the bell finally rang I did a mental fist pump and grabbed my things and walked down stairs. I met up with Daniel, Autumn, and Molly at our regular spot. Molly was the first one to show up with me. We stood there talking about randomness. Autumn and Daniel showed up together as always and they were laughing about something. I turned to see their faces and noticed Daniel eyeing someone behind me. I turned to see and quickly turned around when I saw Carson standing with his friends right where we had to walk by. I sighed and said, "Come on guys we don't have

all day." We strolled over by them and just as I was walking by I heard, "That stupid bitch." I stopped dead in my tracks and turned to see Carson smirking. I called for my friends to hold on. I slowly walked over to Carson and got as close as possible, leaned up to where my lips brushed his cheek and whispered, "You ever so much as look my way I swear to you I will remove that small thing you have down there. Mkay?" He scoffed and replied, "Baby, I sure as hell ain't scared of you." He paused to grab my wrist and squeezed hardly and continued, "So don't think I am. You stupid slut." I pulled back and before I realized what I had just done my hand met his face with a hard slap. He grabbed his face and stood up straight. I slowly began to shake but tried to hide it. He stood over me, even with the fact of my wedged heels he stood much taller than me, and pushed me back. I stumbled and said, "See this is why I dumped you." And walked away.

Once we got into the parking lot Molly stopped and looked at me with knowing eyes. I smiled and question her smirk. She smiled and replies, "I saw what happened this morning. I was about to say something but of course you had it all under control. But what happened a minute ago?" Daniel looks up from his phone and looks at me. Autumn is in her own world with her headphones on so she clueless to what happened. I grinned and replied, "Nothing, just telling Carson where I stood with us. You called me a slut, I slapped him and he pushed me. But I am fine. So where are we eating today?" Daniel smiled and stated, "Well today I'm riding with Leo. I'm not taking my car but yeah. And Autumn is taking Jason to eat. I don't know about Molly." Molly smiled and confessed, "Nick and I are hanging with his friends today." I sighed and replied, "That's okay. I'm just going to grabbed a mocha and pastry from Starbucks. You guy's have fun. I'll see you all in sixth hour." With that everyone strolled off to their boyfriends. I walked to my car and climbed in. I threw my purse into the passenger side and pulled my phone out. I quickly dialed my older brothers number and put it to my ear. It rang five times then went straight to voicemail. I left a quick message and hung up. I started the car and drove to Starbucks.

When I arrived there was almost no one there. I walked in and placed my order. When it was ready I grabbed it and to find a place to sit. But as soon as I turned I ran into a very hard chest. I looked up to apologize but when I saw what I ran into, my breath catched itself. He was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.

His eyes were so piercing and were the deepest shade of green. His hair was black and hung over his eyes a little and stopped just past his ears. He was obviously taller than me. His chest was accompanied with a black muscle shirt that showed a body that I would bet money he had. His jeans were loss and faded on the thighs. Leaving simple converse to finish his sexy look.

He smiled down at me and grabbed my arms to keep me from falling. I steady myself and pulled away. He stuck his hand out of pushed it towards me and said in a very sexy voice that was laced with a slight accent I couldn't quite place, "Hey I'm so sorry, I'm Sebastian. Sebastian Hillis. And you are?" I step back and take his hand and replied, "You're fine and I'm Emma Davis. I'm so sorry I should have been paying attention." He chuckled and replied, "You're okay. Do you wanna sit down together?" Not trusting my own words, I simply nodded and found a sit while he places his order.

Once he is finally sitting down he start talking about school. I find out that he is a freshman in college. He turned 20 years old last week. He was majoring in law enforcement. He lives at home with his brother's. His mom and dad are both lawyer's and he has no sisters. We shared many laughs and once we finished our food and drinks and got up and walked out. He walked me to my car and we talked a little more.

"So I'll see you later?" he questioned. I looked up at him and replied, "Well, I don't know, will I?" He laughed and said, "Do you wanna meet up tomorrow? After school?" I thought about it and thanked God I don't have to work and agreed. We traded numbers and I was off back to school. I was ten minutes late but I didn't care.

The next few hours screamed by without hesitation. I couldn't wait for sixth hour to tell my friends about what happened. So I kept checking my phone to see what the time was. The bell finally rang and I literately ran down the stairs.

I walked into my class and noticed Daniel and Molly talking in hushed voices and when I walked over they stopped talking. I raised an eyebrow and Daniel just smiled and threw his hands up in surrender. I sat down and leaned on to Molly's desk and whispered into her ear knowing this would drive Daniel crazy. As I pull away from Molly I caught a glance at Daniel and he looked almost red from anger. I laughed and said, "I didn't even say anything so don't get all butt hurt. I just know that it gets to you." He sarcastically retorts, "Yes, my ass is quite sore." I flip him off and the teacher walks in.

The rest of the hour flies by and we are dismissed Greg takes his leave and me and Molly make our journey to our last class of the day.
