Tonight was the big surprise for Mirabel and everyone was excited and ecstatic they just couldn't help but smile although they tried to keep it secret from Mirabel.
"I'm so excited ". Socorro jumped
"Woah Mija I know but slow down a bit". Luisa calmed down
"Lo siento Mamá ". Socorro smiled
"Okay have we got everything ". Imelda asked
"Si Mamá I think so". Coco smiled
"Calamate Mi Amor she'll love it". Héctor reassures
"I hope so". Imelda smiled
Meanwhile Mirabel was reading a book in her room enjoying peace and quiet and for a couple of hours she was preoccupied that was until she went to grab a snack she found Luisa lifting a giant box.
"Hola Lu what are you doing?" She asked
"Oh Mira didn't see you I am just helping Mamá deliver a cake for the kids". Luisa covered up
"Okay well say hola for me for the kids". Mirabel replies
"Si, yo voy". Luisa sighed
When she exited the house she let a sigh of relief and smiled as she barely made it out.
"Nice cover up". Luisa thought
When she made it with the cake back to the Rivera household, Everyone was ethier decorating for the quincesenra ; some working double in between shifts between orders for the shop.
"How did it go?" Franco asked
"She has no idea I had a pretty good cover up". Luisa smiled
"I hope so". Julio replies
Mirabel had no idea and she was starting to get worried her family was acting very secretive the Rivera's included but Mirabel just shook it off she would find out eventually.
"What's been going on with you lately Isa?" She asked at dinner
"Nothing just having fun with paints and plants". Isabela answers hurriedly
The family all let a sigh of relief when she didn't find out.
"Well whatever you're hiding I'm gonna eventually ". Mirabel smirked
That was 4 days ago and her family had been so weird and not that they weren't weird but this was new weird, The Rivera's weren't much better ethier they would make excuses and hide it with ethier distractions or shoe orders.
"Rosa are you Okay?" Mirabel said
"Si why do you ask". She replies
"It's just you've been acting weird are you hiding something from me on purpose ". Mirabel asked
That got her attention as she closed her book looking worried.
"Ahh I am doing something for a school project yeah". Rosa put the book down
"Okay you're lying I am gonna find out". Mirabel replies
Rosa was worried luckily Victoria came into the room and she mouthed a 'help me' she got what she meant and knew the perfect distraction.
"Mija can have some help with this stitching it's tangled up and I don't know how to get it undone ". Victoria asked
"Por supesto". Mirabel replies
