Chapter 25 : Swimming
The kids were at the lake enjoying a sunny day of swimming and fun The adults were catching up with wine and conversation so that left the kids to go on the adventures, with precautions left by the parents The eldest were in charge; Some of them were sun bathing and enjoyed conversation.
Socorro was having trouble getting used to the water since she wasn't used to this kind of water she was of course very worried.
"Come on Coco it doesn't hurt see". Antonio splashed
"I don't know about that ". Socorro was cautious
Miguel saw this and decided to help out he stood close to The waters edge so that she wouldn't fall in without him catching her.
"I promise it's safe Chiquita ". He said
"How do I know your not lying". Socorro pouted
Miguel smiled and laughed.
"You know I wouldn't lie about this". Miguel smiled
"Don't force it". Isabela stated
Mirabel had come with some food and a picnic blanket and smiled.
"What's going on?" Mirabel asked
"Socorro is a bit afraid of the water she's afraid to fall in ". Luisa starts
"Oh I can fix that". Mirabel replies
"You sure she seems very scared ". Camilo asked
"Cami I did it with Antonio and I think I can handle it". Mirabel sighed
"Okay if you're sure". Abel stated
"I've got this". Mirabel reassures
Mirabel walked down to that bank and smiled at them she walked down and kneeled down in front of the water.
"Mira What are you doing?" Socorro asked
"Testing the water Hermanita and it looks Alright to me". Mirabel replies
"But won't you drown". Socorro coaxed
She shook her head.
"Chiquita there's nothing to be afraid of see?" Miguel tested the water
Mirabel laughed and held Socorro's hand and gently hugged her.
"How about this I walk you in and Miguel will catch you Okay?" She asked
"Alright But you promise not to let go". Socorro asked
"I promise do you trust me ". Mirabel nodded
Socorro shook her head.
So with that Mirabel walked her to the water slowly Socorro slid in the shallow end and Miguel caught her.
"There you go". Mirabel replies
"Nothing to be scared of ". Miguel smiled
Socorro smiled and splashed her brother and Antonio.
"Hey". Miguel pouted
"No fair". Antonio piped
"Your right I was being worried for nothing Besides it wouldn't be any fun if I didn't get you". Socorro laughs
Mirabel laughs and blushes at the sight that was happening.
"Come on Mira join us!!" Antonio yelled
