"OW! WATCH IT!" Lute shouted at me as I bandaged up her injured wing, she had just gotten back from an extermination but injured herself trying to go after two demons at once so another exterminator dragged her back despite her very loud complaints. "Sorry. But the bandages need to be tight to make sure your wing heals properly." Life grumbled and looked away from her, her mask still on as I kept patching up her wing. Lute kept grumbling and twitching but stopped when I gently finished patching up her wing, quickly moving back as she stood up with a huff. Her mask held a... slight pink..? "Thank you." Lute spat out before quickly leaving the room as I heard her run off and say somethings I couldn't understand.

~Time skip, Lute's Pov~

Stupid! How could!? UGH! I shouldn't like them! I shouldn't! But they're so shy... and kind... and cu- NO! QUIT IT BRAIN! I'm an exterminator! I can't 'fall in love'!... can I..? Ugh! I huffed as I walked outside and headed towards Adam's residence, we were close. He was like a... not so smart mentor that needed watching himself.. I pushed open the door to his house and heard very loud crunching as he lounged on his couch, stuffing his face. "Sir! I need help with something!" "Ah! Jesus Lute!" Adam jumped and looked at me, his bag of chips falling of his chest as she scrambled to sit up "what!?" "I... I think I have gained feelings for Y/n, Sir!" ".... Holy fuckin Shit balls Lute. FINALLY! JEEZ! BEEN SHIPPING YOU TWO FOR YEARS!" "W-WHAT!? SIR!" I yelled at him as I blushed as he clapped and cheered. "Alright, so whatcha gotta do, woman love this. Go and kiss me with no explanation!"

"OW! HOLY FUCK LUTE OW!" Adam hollered as I punched him in the nose. "NO!" This resulted in us getting into a screaming match.

~Y/n Pov~

"Oh my gosh! You so have to tell her Y/n! That's adorable!" Emily squealed as her three wings twitched and flapped with excitement. "E-Emily nooo, she couldn't possibly like me back." "She's gotta! She's gonna love you and you two are gonna be so cuuutuutttwee awwwww!" Emily awed and flapped her wings a few times as I blushed and looked away "em, quit it." I chuckled as she nudges me "you should go tell her! Oh! Give her flowers!" "I-I can't just tell her! M-maybe I'll get flowers..?" "Do it!" Emily squealed loudly as she pushed me out and cheered me on as I flew off to a flower shop, which isn't hard to find in heaven. I walked around the shop for a bit before deciding on a few white and light pink roses. She'll like these right...? I nervously frowned as I walked out of the shop after paying, turning on the street only to run into said greyscale angel. "Hey! Watch where you're goin- oh! H-hello Y/n.." "o-oh! Lute! I-I! Um- uh-" I stuttered as my face went red as lute looked at the flowers.

"... who the flowers for..?" Lute questioned, I nervously looked down at my hands and shove them into her, she quickly scrambles to hold them and looks at me with a faint blush "t-their for y-you!" "O-oh... really..?" I nod and look down, going to bolt before Lute suddenly grabbed me and bowed me down, kissing me on the lips. I melted into her grasp as some angels on the streets cheered for us.
