-Samantha's POV-
I sat on the bench. The minutes felt like hours, the seconds felt like minutes. Right then all I felt was rejection- which was pretty normal.
Everyone I had ever met, hated me. Who could blame them? I wasn't the most likeable person. I didn't talk, I was mute for the longest time after the only person in the world who liked me, my best friend, died.
After many years of being alone, I made a new friend, Drew. I let him in. I trusted him like I had never trusted anyone before. He understood me. He cared for me, Or so I thought.
Eventually, we dated. That was when things began to go sour. Everything changed. He owned me. He had me wrapped around his finger, and I wouldn't unwind from it. Just weeks into the already horrible relationship, he forced me to have sex with him. Followed by him beating me, all that becoming my daily routine for the remainder of highschool. After senior year, he went to college. I was free. Him going to college gave me the hope I hadn't had in many years, it gave me hope to start over.
But there I was, five years later, half way across the country, no home. No job. Nothing.
Hope doesn't get you very far.
Ian's POV-
"Get your ass over here," I yelled behind me as Anthony struggled to keep up, "put those thunder thighs to use!"
We were filming a new episode of, "lunchtime with smosh." But, we weren't taking cars. We were doing an exercise campaign so we were walking to the taco bell nearest our house. As Anthony finally caught up to me, something- someone caught my eye. Sleeping on the bus stop bench was girl.
"Anthony do you see that?" I asked, flipping off the camera.
"See what?"
"That girl."
"Where?"
"Over there!"
"WHERE THE HELL IS OVER THERE, OVER WHERE IAN, OVER WHERE?"
"On the bench, asshole."
"Oh, now I see. Not gonna lie, she's pretty good for a hobo."
I rolled my eyes at him and gave one of those so-are-we-like-gonna-help-her-out-or-something looks, he shrugged his shoulders on responce. I then gestured for him to make the first step towards her, he rolled his eyes and began walking toward her. I quickly followed behind.
"Hi..." Anthony awkwardly mutters to the half asleep woman laying on the bench.
She bolted up.
"Wh- oh... I thought you where someone else."
"Oh, were you like, waiting for someone?"
"In a sense.."
"What?'
"Never mind."
There was a dead silence between us for a good, minute or so. I wasn't keeping track. I was examining her. Her deep blue eyes, her (admitably greasy) dark brown hair. She seemed so hurt though. The look in her eyes were practically begging for help. She was the kind of girl that right when you first see her you think I need to know more about her, and thats just what I did.
