Somewhere in a forest during the winter, there was a cave that belonged to an elderly Demon Dragon named Boney 10 (voiced by Mel Brooks), who was reading a newspaper before noticing the readers. Boney 10: "Well hello there, I'm Boney 10, and yes, I'm a demon, but a friendly one, at least to children anyway... now then... as you know, it's Christmas time, and everyone is getting ready for the holiday, and the arrival of Santa Claus, the man who travels the world in one night to deliver gifts to all the good little boys and girls... which can be tough for the old man sometimes... like the time of the year with the big snow storm... I don't know what he would have done without Rudolph pulling him through... [a chipmunk came up to Boney 10 and chattered in his own language that only he understood.] oh?, you never heard of Rudolph?, well lucky for you, I know the story... and if you like, I can tell you about it... would you all like that [readers nodded] great... now then... to start off... let's begin with how Santa became the man we all know and love..." said Boney 10, before the scene changes to show pictures of a baby that was Santa when he was a baby. Boney 10 then begins telling the readers that when Santa was a little baby, he was an orphan that got adopted by a family of elves, who named him Kris Kringle. When Kris was a young man, who was ready to deliver the toys that the elves made to the children of the nearest town. However, the mayor of that town hated toys and made a law that no toys were allowed and any toy maker was to be thrown in jail, so when Kris got to town and tried to give the toys to the children, the mayor and his guards chased him off. Although he managed to escape, Kris was captured by a warlock that was known as the Winter Warlock, who made a deal with a demon long ago to have his ice powers with the price of turning his heart into ice as well. But because of his kindness, Kris not only melted the warlock's heart by giving him a toy train, but also become friends with him, and the warlock taught him some of his magic, like a crystal snowball that would allow him to see what the children are doing, just to see who's been naughty or nice. Due to the mayor, Kris had to go to town at night and use the chimneys to get into the house and put the toys in stockings, which was what he does today. But then, one night, the mayor sets up a trap that captures not only Kris but the elves as well, however, thanks to Kris' love interest known as Jessica, she used the magic feed corn from the warlock to give some reindeer the ability to fly, and they helped Kris and the elves escaped from the mayor. Due to being outlaws, Kris had to change his name to Santa Claus and he and the elves, the warlock and even Jessica, had to travel far to avoid getting caught again, and eventually they moved to the North Pole, where they build a castle that would be the toy factory that makes toys for the kids all over the world. As the years went by, the warlock used the last of his magic to create a child of his own, which was a daughter he named Stormella, who turned out to be as cold as her father was before he met Kris, and she got more colder when the warlock passed away. Stormella created a monster known as the Abominable Snow Monster of the North, with the role as her bodyguard and pet as well as a minion. Back with Santa, he now has 8 reindeer to pull his sleigh, known as Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen, who would eventually get mates of their own and have fawns of their own. That was when the scene changed back to where Boney 10 was, and looks at the readers. Boney 10: "Now then... for those who want to know what that tale had to do with Rudolph... well it's just something to let you know what happened before Rudolph came... anyway... as you now, Santa has 8 reindeer... you know Dasher... Dancer... Prancer and Vixen... Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen... but do you recall the most famous reindeer of all?" said Boney 10, before the story truly begins.
