Sandhya pov-

Aap ek baar meri baat sun to lijiye....I said walking behind him but he was seething in anger.
Shut up and stop telling me about how to handle my business....he warned me by showing his index finger .
But Dad was saying that you shouldn't make more enemies in that unknown area ....I said with pleading eyes.

Sandhya I know what I am doing and I have delt with these kind of people before too . I am telling you this last time . Stay out of it .....He yelled at me and entred his study room .

I sighed holding my head in my hands . What should I do now .
We have been fighting over the same topic from past 2 weeks .
He is adamant on buying a disputed land in Kolkata. The owner is settled in America but the local goon of that area has claimed the land and has setup his office there .
A case is still going on this matter and although it's been illegally occupied but the officers of the area have been bribed by the Goon .

Dad asked him to leave that property but he is being adamant.
They fought few days before over this matter . Even Aakash Bhai asked him to not get himself indulged in all these but he is not listening to anyone.

This man has really lost his brain. He doesn't fear anyone but others have fears .
Why don't he thinks about Amu and me . The Goon had even publicly threatened him when he went to Kolkata to see the property and it's location.
Why does he have to lock horns with these kind of people.

Beta kuch baar Hui Vardhan se .....Maa asked me as I entred the kitchen.

After Dinner I silently laid on the bed as Amu slept with Maa and Dad.
He turned to me keeping his phone aside .
Kya hua hai ...he asked and I just nodded in No .
He pulled me closer and I just laid my head on his chest .
Why are you so silent today ....he asked me throwing his leg over mine .

Mei kya bolu jab aap meri kuch sunte hi nahi hai ....I whispered and he sighed.
Don't start again with the same thing . I have asked you to close that topic then why are you still stuck on that thing ...he said with irritation.

Mujhe dar lagta hai .....Aapko kuch ho gya to mei aur Amu kya karege. I have not slept peacefully since last 2 weeks .
Family mei sab pareshan hai . Maa roo rahi thi kitchen mei . Dad ka BP high ho gya hai .
Na bhook lagti hai Na neend aati hai ....I sobbed bitterly.

Asa kya business ki ghar ka mahool hi khrab ho jae ....I asked breaking down in his arms .
Aap hum logo ka bhi sochiye na ek baar . Koi khus nahi hai Ghar mei .
I have never interfered in your work but please iss baar sun lijiye .

Business ...Hotels , money , fame ye sab nahi chahiye hai mujhe . I just want you . Aap k Bina inn sab ka koi matlab nahi h .
Humari choti si beti h .....uska sochiye.
Aapko lagta hai ki aap sab handle kar lenge . You don't fear the goons or any underworld but we can't jeopardize your safety.

Why have you put in such situation where we have this constant fear of loosing you....I cried inconsolably in his arms .

Mei nahi karuga . I will not indulge myself in that deal . Stop crying now....he said and I looked at him still hiccuping.
Swear on me  ....I asked placing his palm on my head .
I promise...he said kissing my forehead and I smiled still with teary eyes and hugged in tightly.
