Are you also traumatized by the final season? Well, here's a little treat for you! A brand new story beginning in season 2 that has been in the works for many months now and is finally ready to be published.
Before we begin, here are a few disclaimers and notes.🤍
1. English is not my first language, so if you notice any mistakes, please kindly let me know through the comments and I'll make sure to correct them. This is also my first work on here, so I'm relatively new to writing a coherent short-novel-length-story in my second language.
2. Everything that this story contains except for Maeve & her storyline/dialogue is taken from the script of The Umbrella Academy on Netflix. I do not own the rights to any of the other dialogue or characters. Please don't copy my character without permission, I put a lot of work and love into her.
3. If you have any questions, always let me know in the comments and I'll be happy to answer!
4. Elliot Page's character Viktor Hargreeves is still referred to as "Vanya" in season two. I am not trans myself and do not know whether or not it is okay to use the name "Vanya" in this season, for now I have decided to keep the original dialogue (meaning that the characters all refer to him as Vanya) BUT have the omniscient narrator refer to him as Viktor and change all the pronouns. Please comment if this is not okay, then I will immediately change the use of his name in the dialogue. I have nothing but love and respect for the trans community as well as Elliot Page himself, and I do not mean any harm or disrespect.
5. This story contains mature language (not an unnecessary amount, but still), alcohol and drug abuse (Klaus), blood, gore, death, themes of PTSD and panic attacks, se#ual assault (with trigger warnings! handled with care and maturity!), very questionable and abusive parenting methods. Also sadly contains Luther ripping off his shirt at the family dinner, which needs a warning for itself.
6. Maeve is pronounced May-vee and will not have a face claim. Her appearance will, however, be described as the story goes on. She is not the face of the reader or y/n, she's an original character.
7. This story begins in season two of the series. I am going to include some 60s-slang and period specific stuff but Maeve has only been there for four years and does not talk to many local people to assimilate the language.
8. This is not a love story. We don't have time for that... Right. The world is ending! Focus on the, uh, real issues. No time for all that. Yeah. Yeahhhhh.
