(Hey y'all! Just wanted to say a huge thanks. This Is the first story I have posted on this platform, ever, and the first chapters got reads in the high seventies. It has really inspired me to keep writing, and maybe even write more different things in the future, thank you! Also, Friday night 23:50 post, because who needs sleep? Not this guy.)

Lila sat at Y/n's bedside. Y/n had been unconcious since the hunting party had returned, having sustained some nasty injuries, including a few broken ribs and some internal bleeding. Thankfully she was stable for now. Lila but her lip. If Y/n woke up, would she be happy Lila was at her bedside? The twins had long been "rivals". Their parents, after they were born, had decided instead of just handing the leadership of the clan to the eldest, which is Y/n,when the time came, the title of clan leader would be passed two whichever twin was more "deserving" this had driven a wedge between the girls, who had once been joined at the hip, and until the rival of the sullies, had scarcely spoken. Y/n had become a great worrior, had taken the role the son their parents had hoped fors role. Lila, had become a healer and helped maia. Lila sighed, standing from the chair she sat in. The same thing happened every time Y/n got hurt... Lila would sit for a while, before Leaving, reasoning her sister would never want to see her.

A few hours later...
Y/n woke up, and for a moment the world was dark and fuzzy. She tried to sit up and a sharp pain rocketed through her side. Shed broken at least a few ribs... Y/n carefully fell back into the position she'd been laying in with a groan. She took the chance to glance around the room. As per usual, her mother, father, and sister were nowhere to be seen. A young healer trained specially by Y/n's mother would be looking after her. Y/n sighed, of course her mother was too busy to look after her. Oh well. She'd just heal quickly and get back to hunting and training the forest family... Y/n felt sort of guilty now. The family had been here for about 3 or 4 weeks now, and she didn't even know all their names. Besides, shed caught the eye of the eldest boy a few times, he was fairly good looking, his braids were neat, and he had the look of a great warrior. He was intriguing, but she couldn't be distracted. Earn your parents attention. Earn your role as their heir. Make them proud. Out -do your sister. Her parents had said she would need to find a mate at some point, but that could wait. Right now, she needed to heal, so she decided, she should rest, and so y/n settled in for a snooze.
