David made his way back downstairs. He wasn't sure how long he was gone for but he could tell it was night time. The house floor was dark and David could hear the echoing snores coming from the Trio's room. Normally the snoring wouldn't be a problem because when David was Yellow he would always go to sleep first and sleep through the loud noises.

He opened up the cupboard and grabbed a candy bar. He wanted something different but he wasn't in the mood to eat anything that would scream and beg for its life. That would be far too noisy and wake up Red and Duck. He was halfway through feeding his bar when he walked into the living room and heard a voice from the wall.

"You should be asleep young man," Tony said, hanging from the wall.

"I can't sleep in my bed," David said. "They're snoring too loud."

"I didn't say you needed to sleep in your bed," Tony responded. "I said that you should be asleep. I don't care if it's in your bed or not. You need proper sleep."

"All right," David said, starting to get fed up. "What if I sleep on the big soft chair?"

"I don't care where you sleep," Tony was annoyed. "I have a sleep schedule set for everyone here; the quicker you stick to yours, the better."

"All right all right. I'm going to sleep right now. Good night." David curled up in a ball on the soft chair.

"Finally," Tony said, starting to feel sleepy.

Tony and David soon fell asleep. David was sure that this was just a one-day thing. That Red and Duck will learn to accept him. Maybe Red and Duck were right, Maybe he should try and use fewer big words. Maybe he should be nicer to them. Maybe he should let Duck have the name David. But Leslie liked it, maybe he could let Duck borrow the name instead. David stayed on those thoughts until his eyelid grew heavy and he faded off into slumber.

The next morning arrived and David woke up to the smell of eggs and bacon in the kitchen. He could hear them talking in the kitchen, they sounded happy. David was right. They had calmed down and they're in a way better mood. David excitedly hopped off of the couch and ran into the kitchen.

"Good morning guys, I'm here!" David yelled

"Why are you being so loud?" Duck said. "We haven't even started breakfast yet and you're already driving us up the walls."

"Yeah calm down mate," Red said. "Be patient you don't want to eat hot food." Red place down plates for everyone to eat.

Duck's plate was bacon, eggs with a side of French toast, and mold. Red's plate with similar but it had more bacon and the eggs were scrambled. David's plate was lacking similar proportions of food compared to the other two. Two pieces of bacon and one sunny-side-up egg. Well, at least the egg wasn't running.

"Hey guys, where's my food?" David asked

"What do you mean?" Red said. "It's right there on your plate."

"Well I see that, but why is there so little of it?" David was looking at both of them.

"Oh doesn't matter why they're so little food on it?" Duck blurted out. "If you're so big and smart then why don't you get it yourself?"

"I would if there was any food left on the counter."

"Hey, you didn't help us cook breakfast this morning," Red stepped in. "You should just be grateful that you got food at all."

"I was asleep," Said David. "If you woke me up then I would have definitely helped you."

"Yeah, but while you were asleep your hair was a little scruffy and we both thought that for a second..." Red looked down.

Duck interrupted Red's vulnerable moment. "We both thought that you were being a lazy brat. Nothing more to think about."

"Yeah, that was definitely what you guys were thinking," David said sarcastically.

Duck leaned over to Red and whispered. "See I told you he'd still believe us, not as smart as he looks."

"I'll finish my breakfast in my room." David grabbed his plate that just contained bacon.

"You better not get any Grease on our bed sheets or I'll squash you like a pesky bee!" Duck yelled to David who was already down the hall.

David looked down at his two strips of bacon which had dried out and were now all crispy. He walked into the bedroom and sat down on his Yellow blanket. He grabbed a small hand mirror and used to comb to straighten out his hair.

He wanted to talk to someone. David looked at his reflection hoping that the other him might return.
