The egg finally hatched, and Touya and Keigo anxiously observed. Shiggy and Rumi observed from a distance with Shoto, Izuku, and Yumi. Nat assisted his nephew in clearing away the sharp pieces that could harm the delicate newborn. When Nat finally held the baby, he carefully checked him over, clearing his airways as the baby voiced his displeasure. With a smile, Nat handed the baby to Keigo and announced, "IT'S A BOY!" Excitement filled the room as the family cheered, and the grandmas rushed in. Rei pouted, "Awww, I missed it!" and Tomie joined in with a disappointed expression.

Tears welled up in Keigo's eyes as he cradled his newborn son protectively. Touya smiled, leaning over Keigo's shoulder, and softly said, "Hey baby, I'm Daddy." Happiness overflowed in the moment.

Rei and Tomie approached to see the baby, and when the little one opened his eyes, revealing a shade of blue akin to Touya's, a smile formed on Touya's face. "Seems my genetics are stronger," he teased Keigo lovingly, adding a touch of playful banter to the joyous moment.

Keigo laughed, "Don't count all your hens yet, dear. He could still have my quirk." Touya sighed, "Dear Lord, I hope so, or at least have the skin for his element." The couple shared a lighthearted exchange, anticipating the unique traits their newborn might inherit.

Shiggy approached, hands in pockets, and remarked, "He looks like you, Dabi." Yumi and Rumi joined in, expressing their excitement over the adorable newborn. "Aww, our nephew is soooooo cute!" Shoto and Izuku, still teenagers and not fully grasping everything, exchanged glances but shared in the overall happiness of the moment.

"My father's name will die with me, but the world needs more sweet Todorokis to override Endeavor," explained Keigo. Keigo added with a smile, "Besides, if and when we get married, I do plan on taking Touya's last name anyways." The decision carried significance, reflecting a desire for a new, positive legacy in the Todoroki family.

Touya's cheeks turned red, not for the first time hearing Keigo express such sentiments. Rei chuckled, "Touya dear, this boy has been wanting to marry you since you were kids. I think it's time, dear." Touya's blush deepened, and he groaned, "Mom."

Keigo smiled, planting a kiss on Touya's cheek. "She's right, you know, love." Touya nodded, considering but deciding to wait for their anniversary. Shiggy snorted, and Tomie smiled, giving her son a side hug, "My son, the ever-romantic." The family banter added a touch of warmth and humor to the moment.

Keigo provided skin-to-skin contact with Kouten, soothing the newborn and preventing him from wiggling. The act reminded Keigo of how Shoto used to seek comfort through the same approach when he wanted snuggles. The family's shared moments and habits carried on through generations.

A week later, Natsuo officially documented the new family member by putting a copy of the birth certificate in the records. Touya, taking the opportunity, asked Yumi and Rumi to babysit as he took Keigo out on a date. The couple enjoyed some quality time together, relishing in the joy of their growing family.

After their meal, Touya got down on one knee, and cameras captured the moment as the new number one hero proposed. Overwhelmed with emotion, Keigo cried and jumped into Touya's arms, enthusiastically shouting, "YES!" The kiss that followed sealed the commitment, marking a significant and joyous chapter in their lives.

Touya kissed back and whispered, "See, I wasn't going to make you wait much longer." Keigo laughed through his happy tears, hugging Touya tighter. The new ring on his finger shimmered in the light. Although the ring lacked diamonds, considering Keigo's hero customs gloves, the engraving made it special—a feather painted blue like Touya's flames with the words "always together." It symbolized their enduring commitment.

The internet erupted when the proposal video emerged, capturing the heartwarming moment. Touya then took Keigo home, where their family joined in the celebration of their engagement. The joyous occasion marked the beginning of a new chapter for the couple and their growing family.

Touya cradled his son gently that night, gazing at the innocent human being in his arms. Reflecting on his own painful past with Enji, flashes of hurt resurfaced, and he held Kouten tighter, arms wrapped protectively around him. Whispering softly, he vowed, "I will not let you grow up like we did, my son," pressing a kiss to the infant's head as Kouten slept soundly in his father's arms.

Keigo woke up early, his usual routine disrupted by the sight of Touya and Kouten peacefully sleeping. He looked at the engagement ring on his finger, and a flutter of butterflies filled his stomach, a mix of emotions at the significance of the moment and the love surrounding him.

Keigo smiled and leaned over, planting a gentle kiss on Touya's cheek. Touya, a light sleeper, opened his eyes and greeted Keigo with a smile, "Morning, love." Keigo returned the smile, replying, "Morning." The simple exchange marked the beginning of another day filled with the warmth of their connection.

"Off to work?" Touya asked softly, careful not to wake the baby. Keigo nodded, saying, "Yeah, but I wanted to cuddle." Touya chuckled, opening his arms, and Keigo snuggled close, sighing happily without disturbing the sleeping baby. The morning cuddle provided a comforting moment before the day began.

After their cuddle, Keigo got up and headed to the shower, allowing Touya to drift back to sleep. Despite being a light sleeper, Touya had grown accustomed to Keigo's presence, even able to sleep peacefully if Keigo moved around the room in heels. Their familiarity and comfort with each other added a sense of ease to their daily routines.

Keigo, in contrast, was an extremely heavy sleeper when he trusted the person next to him. Touya, on the other hand, had always been on high alert, even as a kid, to protect Keigo at night. Their differences in sleeping habits reflected the unique dynamics of their relationship and the trust they shared.
