JULIA'S POV:

The bodyguards had led me to a woman named 'Miss. Lee.' She looked young, probably a little older than me. Miss. Lee is a helper in Roman's home.

She led me all around the home, showing me where everything is.

Miss. Lee had also brought me to my 'bedroom.' It was so beautiful, something I had never expected. Hi

It was huge! I walk towards the windows, enjoying the view.

"Heres your uniform." The woman says before placing some clothing on the bed, "I'll be outside waiting for you." She then walks out of the bedroom shutting the door behind her.

I stare silently at the uniform scoffing silently, "a uniform? Are you serious." I whispered to myself as I walk over to the stupid uniform.

I stare at myself in disbelief, shaking my head as I walk out of my bedroom. I look like a freaking waitress..

ROMAN'S POV:

I was in my office, reading when suddenly my phone ranged inside my pocket, which I gracefully pulled out. I looked over at the contact, it was my boss, Mr. Kai.

Mr. Kai is my 50 year old boss who use to own an Italian mafia long ago, use to be very rich, never really know much of his backstory. Now he gets paid to assassinate the humankind.

People all over the world beg him to erase a specific someone in their lives. When I say erase I mean kill them, and he leaves me to do the dirty job. Individuals pay him to find someone to make them disappear, then he pays me to assassinate them.

"Hello, Kai." I speak as place the phone to my ear against my shoulder, going back to reading my book.

"Hello, R. How you been?" Mr. Kai asked me tiredly.

"I've been good, is everything okay?"

"Yeah, Yeah. It's just- remember Shane?" Mr. Kai mentioned.

I slightly froze as I remembered about my last meeting. Shit, how could I forget about him, my victims ex boyfriend!

I set my book down now holding my phone in my hands, still against my ear.

"Yeah, what about him?"

"Well, he's been bugging me lately about wanting to know..have you killed her yet?" Mr. Kai hesitatingly asked.

As he spoke, my office door opened revealing Julia with a tray. She was about to speak till I put a finger on my lips, a sign to be quiet in which she obeyed.

"Oh yeah, I killed her alright." This made Julia's eyes widen with fright staring at me.

"Great, I'll set up a meeting for you and Shane later this afternoon." Mr. Kai said before he hanged up the phone.

As I slowly put the phone down, my eyes stayed locked on Julia's who at a slow pace sat the tray on my desk, now about to walk out of my office.

"Wait!" I called out, but she ignored me, closing the door. I sigh in frustration now heading out of my office, seeing her quickly walk away.

JULIA'S POV:

I speed walk away from his office door. Killing her? I just know he's talking about me. Suddenly, I feel a strong grip on my upper arm, then I'm forcefully turned around, now seeing Roman with an angry expression.

"Did I say to walk away from me?" He growled as he was nearing my face, we were in the middle of the hallway from his office room, we stood in front of many unknown white doors that makes me curious about what's inside those hidden rooms.

"Who did you kill?" I questioned, even though I already knew the answer.

"Nobody." he simply responded with his cold stare.

"Is this about Shane?" I asked with curiosity, my eyebrows furrowing as we speak.

Roman raised his eyebrow, "its nothing that concerns you."

Rage suddenly gripped me, "It is about me, so obviously it does concern me-" I was cut off when a door slammed open.

Beside us stood Miss. Lee, she looked at us weirdly as she stares at Romans hand that was gripping onto my arm.

I took notice in our closeness as Roman backs away, keeping us some distance.

I feel a burning stare, looking over and Miss. Lee...looked angry? Her fists clenched, furrowed eyebrows, tense jaw, and her nose was flared as she glared at me. I stare back at her with confusion, then glancing at Roman. I somewhat felt the tension risen.

Roman clears his throat, "Get back to work.." He snarls as he walks away from us. Miss. Lee walks forward, now shutting the door close while ignoring my presence.

I ignored what just happened and start walking away, trying to find something to distract myself but I had found stairs that probably leads down. Looking over the railing, I see Roman walking towards the front door speaking to one of his bodyguards.

"Do not let her out of your sight." He warned before walking out. I slightly roll my eyes. I need to escape this hellhole before he changes his mind about killing me.

HI!! im sorry I took so long to update. I hope people are still reading this and becoming patient with me. Why does school exist..?

I know it's a short chapter just bare with me.
