I want to go to the beach. I want to go to the pool. I want to go to a summer festival. Oh, and if we do go, I want you to wear a yukata for sure. As long as I'm with you, I don't mind going anywhere, even if it's just a walk around the neighborhood. - Todoroki was holding Bakugou's hand, his face dead serious, as he unabashedly said everything. As usual, his face was handsome as hell, even though his eyes were still half-closed due to having just woken up, and his head was an utter bird's nest. However, his skin felt somewhat rough, and his hair was less glossy than expected, even though he made sure to trim it occasionally. Was it perhaps due to lack of sleep, nutrients, and stress?
Bakugou took a mental note about making some nutritious food for Todoroki to eat today.
Todoroki's soba favoritism wasn't a bad thing per se, but if Bakugou left him to his own devices for too long, Todoroki would only eat soba every day. And then, when night came, and Todoroki sweetly told him that they should hurry up and go to bed, Bakugou went along with the flow and nodded his head in agreement, even though he thought that those words had meant a completely different type of invitation.
"...You said you were off today. So I finished all my work by today, too, and did my best to make it a reality."
"Yeah, you did make it on time."
Todoroki's eyes narrowed to shape a pleased expression as Bakugou ran his fingers through his messy hair. The stretched bangs partially covered his eyes and seemed to get in the way, so Bakugou took another mental note about cutting them later in the day. It was also hot, so it would certainly be a good idea to trim it shorter.
Until just recently, Todoroki's exhausting workload seemed to go on and on, which made him continuously cross paths with Bakugou without being able actually to meet one another.
But that seemed to have finally come to an end. Last night, Todoroki had been able to come home early for the first time in a while, went straight to the bathtub without eating any dinner, and fell dead asleep as soon as he held Bakugou in his arms. Bakugou had some expectations about what was about to happen when he started being silently led to their bed, but as soon as he heard that gentle breathing rhythm, rather than tease him with a 'You wanna do it or not?' or boldly seduce him, he just let it be. Todoroki might have been sleeping like the dead, but every time Bakugou moved a little bit, he would hug him even more tightly so as not to let him escape, so Bakugou wound up spending the whole night feeling like a body pillow.
When Todoroki sweetly beckoned with a 'Hey, Bakugou', faint dark circles still underneath his eyes, Bakugou knew that it was an invitation for sex without anything else needing to be said. Bakugou would most certainly go along with it, especially since Todoroki was propositioning it when he was so clearly exhausted, but he didn't want Todoroki to overdo it too much.
"So, Bakugou, where do you want to go? I'd like-"
"We're not going anywhere."
"Eh?"
Todoroki, who seemed to be feeling a little bit shaken by that reply, suggested the mountains afterward, then a movie, the aquarium, and so on. Bakugou kept refusing all of his enthusiastic date invitations with 'I won't go,' 'I can't go,' and 'Give it up,' which eventually caused Todoroki to flop back into the bed with a sulky 'You're so mean.' A resentful low groan could be heard coming from him. Todoroki crawled underneath the thin duvet, then idly rolled around on top of the white bedsheets while grumbling in discontent. Eventually, he stopped moving shortly after burying his face on the pillow.
