Ichigo and Akako Hoshihiko were sitting on their couch enjoying the peace and quiet while drinking coffee. The sound of the TV was playing in the background as the snow continued to pile up. As they continued to sit there, the sound of tiny feet thumping across the floor could be heard. Sighs could be heard from the couple as they slumped their shoulder.

"Our little princess is awake," Akako spoke with a smile on her face as she stood up. Ichigo nodded his head as a grin played on his face. Giving her husband a loving kiss on the lips, Akako headed toward the kitchen to began breakfast.

It was valentine's day, one of Y/n favorite holidays. Filled with excitement, Y/n raced down the stairs with home-made cards in her hands. Leaping off the bottom step, Y/n quickly made her way to her mother. "Good morning, mama!" Y/n shouted out with excitement. Giggling from her daughter's excitement, Akako smiled at her as she bent down a tad and stretched her arms out.

Happy, Y/n ran into her mother's arms as she hugged her. Lifting Y/n up, Akako kissed her daughter's pudgie cheek. Y/n giggled from the ticklish sensation. "Mama, stop!" Y/n laughed.

"And why should I? It's valentine's day! Which means..." Akako explained as she continued to give Y/n kisses.

Standing in the entryway of the kitchen, Ichigo watched his two girls laugh with a smile on his face. Noticing her father, Y/n squealed with excitement as she began to scramble out of her mother's arms. Running toward her father, Y/n looked up at him with eyes filled with adoration and love.

"Happy valentine's day, daddy!" Y/n spoke as she handed him his card first and then her mother's. Thanking their daughter, they opened their cards and read it. Aweing, they both gave Y/n hugs and kisses.

"Thank you, darling. We love these," Akako spoke. Y/n just smiled before heading toward the kitchen table. "What's for breakfast?"

"Oh, you know, our valentine's special," Akako answered as she winked at Y/n. As for Ichigo, he slowly made his way toward the table with his empty coffee cup. Noticing this, Akako poured him another cup only to have Ichigo thank her with a kiss. Y/n squealed bashfully as she watched her parents be all lovey dovey with each other.

Breakfast was shortly made and eaten. As Akako cleaned the kitchen, Ichigo brought Y/n into the living room to give her her valentine's day gift. First it was, a bouquet of roses, red ones. Her second one was a pair of hanafuda earrings. It was the pair that Y/n saw a few weeks ago when her and Akako were walking toward the super market. According to Akako, Y/n fell in love with those earrings. And her third and final gift was a huge stuffed teddy bear.
