Third POV:
The once pure snow has now turned into impurity. Bare trees shuttered against the February wind. The once silence atmosphere was once again interrupted by the sounds of footsteps. Mutters and whispers filled the night sky. What was supposed to be an auspicious night turned into a nightmare. The news of the black dragons commander spread quickly throughout the delinquent world.
Events of that night, flashed through Takemichi's mind as he made his way toward the shrine. The expression on his face was a hard one to read. A mixture of pure anger and pain. Even his eyes held some sort of emotion that neither Akkun or Chifuyu could registered. As for Inui, he could tell that look in Takemichi's eyes; the look of regret. Inui knows that feeling all too well.
The first time was when Y/n moved away and he didn't get the chance to tell her how much she meant to him. The second time was when Koko sacrifice himself to save not only his but Y/n life when Y/n and Muto were fighting in the warehouse. The third...the third was feeling too weak to protect those he cares about.
Now with Y/n being in and out of consciousness and possibly having a concussion due to her fall, Inui was acting commander. As he stood there, along with Mikey and Draken, he waited patiently for the meeting to start. A sea of black and white was all Inui saw as the two gangs blended in together.
From the corner of his eye, Inui watched as Draken stepped forward, ready to start the meeting. "OUR EMERGENCY MEETING, BEFORE WE FACE TENJIKU, WILL NOW BEGIN!"
All the previous murmuring from before, came to a stop as all eyes were facing forward. With a look of resolve, Takemichi looked forward as he whispered Chifuyu's name. "Chifuyu, the first division's mission in this upcoming battle, is to rescue Koko, not just for Black Dragons or for Inui, but for Y/n and to beat Kisaki and Izana!"
Chifuyu nodded his head as he lowered his gaze. "So basically, we gotta crush Tenjiku."
With a smirk, Takemichi nodded his head. "That makes it sound like our simplest battle to date."
"Yeah, but..." Chifuyu started, only to stop and hesitate. Taking a pause to gather the words that were echoing inside his head, Chifuyu dared to look at his partner. "Here's the problem," he began slowly. "Can Toman and the Black Dragons beat Tenjiku the way it is now?"
