Okay, I finished the series... I'm not gonna spoil shit, but... this show was the best thing to start this year with.
I know you guys are bummed that this story isn't a harem story but... look I just don't think I can go with that idea for this story. But if it comes to it, maybe I will make a harem story with a male reader at some point.
I'll say this, the vote on Wattpad... if you're on AO3 you won't get it, but I had a vote for the main character to have a love interest and... we have a winner.
Last thing: Since the pilot is technically canon with this story, we're doing it some time between that and episode 1.
Where does this story take us? Well, how about the absolute ear bleeding blare of an alarm clock.
Max groaned in pain as he reached over and tried to turn off the alarm to no avail. He then swiped the alarm clock off the nightstand, causing it to break. Thankfully though, the alarm had come to a stop, and he covered himself with the blanket was able to rest again... until his phone started ringing.
He groaned... and groaned... before sighing and reaching out to take it. He took his glasses, read it, 'no caller ID', and hit decline, then set it on his nightstand before rolling back over to rest... until it rang again.
"Seriously?" He mumbled.
He reached and picked it up again before sitting up and checking again, putting on his glasses. 'No caller ID' again. He declined before setting it down. Then he started rubbing his face, having a feeling he wasn't gonna get to sleep-AAAAAAND his phone went off again.
"Oh my go-" He took it, unable to hit decline as he slid to answer. "WHAT! WHAT DO YOU WANT!?" He yelled before huffing.
"................................................................................. Uh, it's me." A familiar voice came over the phone.
"I don't know anyone named, 'MI', but if you're trying to sell something, I don't want it."
"No, Max, it's me. Charlie." The voice then continued before he rose a brow. "Charlie Morningstar? You agreed to help with the hotel? The Hazbin Hotel?" He hears before his eyes widened in realization.
"Wait... that... that was real?"
"Yes, that was all real." He froze in place as realization was finally hitting him like a semi. "Max? You still there?"
"Give me a moment."
He dropped his phone on the bed before standing up and he started doing a victory dance. He was pumped, starting to... hit the griddy? Whatever that means. He then star-Oh come on, flossing? Really? Okay. Well, as long as he doesn't-He's default dancing-Okay, I quit. Someone else can narrate this shit.
Yeah, I'd probably do the same. Narrator #69! Get in here!
Okay, I'm here. And... Max is currently defu-Oh hell nah, I'm changing that.
Okay, fair enough.
He dropped his phone on the bed before standing up and he started doing... a normal dance. As much as he could with his still healing leg.
"I got a job! I got a job better than drug dealing! YES! I fucking finally did something good." He laughed to himself before his face dropped. "Wait that means I'm gonna be down in Hell... and have to be seeing Alastor-Oh crapbaskets." He sighs while slapping his face. "UGH! Okay, I can deal with this."
