Being a straight A student has always been your life.
Every school you've been to, you knew you just had to be at the top of the class, if not the whole grade.
Never once had your name ever left the 1st place position, and practically by now, everyone just accepted the fact that you were not like them.
That's why this year, you have decided to take on the role of student body president, as per the request of the teachers.
"You're late."
You stood by the front door, with a pen and paper ready in hand.
"For the 12th time this month."
You wrote down his name. Ga Ming.
It was only the third week into the second semester, and yet somehow, this guy always had an excuse for being late.
If it's not his bus breaking down, then it would be his bag getting stolen by a bunch of gang members.
Huffing and puffing, he collapsed down on the ground.
"Wait, can't you give me a break? I literally just sprinted straight to school."

You sarcastically raised your eyebrow.
"Right. Because your bus broke down once again."
He looked up at you, a slight smile on his lips.
"No, luckily, the bus was still operating today. But.....I was a second too late to catch it..."
He awkwardly laughed it off.
You mentally facepalmed.
You quickly wrote down on your paper again.
Reason for late attendance?
Snoozing past bus operation hours.
Ga Ming glanced up at your face.
You noticed and signalled what?
He swiftly posed in a praying position and made a cute face of pleading at you.
"Pretty please, just let me go this one time. I promise to be on time tomorrow. Don't tell the principal."
Promise my ass.
Knocking your pen against his forehead, you replied.
"Cute, but no. Go to the principal's office now."
Standing up in defeat, Ga Ming pouted all the way to the office.
Alright then, that's taken care of. Let's go to class.
