I felt like I was saved by the bell once again. But deep inside me, I was wondering what would he have done if Virgie hasn't come.

Virgie said she wants to eat so Mark and I just went along. I pretended I didn't saw Mark's meaningful glares but deep inside I felt so happy I couldn't help myself from smiling.

"Do you guys have something to tell me?" Virgie seemed to sense the tension between me and Mark. I just shrugged.

"Well, I was actually trying to say that I wasn't done reading that part of the story that was really important when you came." Mark said meaningfully.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't know!" Virgie looked so guilty.

"Oh, that was a joke! Right, Mark?" I said winking at Mark.

"No. I wasn't joking." Mark said seriously now. Virgie seemed to feel the intensity in the air.

"So, I think I should go now." Virgie now is blushing. Maybe she felt unwanted or what.

"Hahaha! Gotcha!" Mark laughed tapping Virgie's shoulder. They laughed. I just watched. I didn't get it, you know.

Maybe tomorrow, we'd be back to normal. I told myself while staring at my reflection on the mirror. I got home late cause Virgie asked me to accompany her to the department store. She bought some materials for their exhibit next week. The exhibit was divided into 4 different dates and our class was divided into 4 groups. My group was the first to submit while others was scheduled next. It is done that way so that the Professor could easily judge our works without so much dilemmas.

I am still thinking about Mark. Is it really a passage on that book? Or is he trying to seduce me? I am so confused I couldn't get myself to sleep.

I was walking in the aisle, feeling so pretty with my gown and I looked into the altar where I could see him waiting patiently. I smiled the brightest as I walked towards him. I felt the now familiar fast beating of my heart. The rhythm that I knew just a few days ago... It seems that it's not so weird at all.

My mom is right beside me and my Dad is holding my right arm. People are flashing bright smiles at me.

Flowers are all over the place. They're so lovely! I noticed everyone is so happy. No envious people around- no pretensious smile.

I felt like a princess walking down the aisle.

"My princess, are you ready?" Asked my Mom. I smiled and tried to answer but no sound came out my mouth. I realized my throat felt so dry that I really need a drink.

"Water-" I managed to say.

"Wake up now, you sleepy head." Mom's voice seems near but I couldn't see her anymore.

"June Vineyard! Wake up! You'll be late already!" Mom already shouted.

"Yes, I do!" I screamed.

"What?!" I saw my Mom standing by my bathroom door carrying a towel. I blinked twice. OMG! That was all but a dream!

"Now, move young lady or you'll reallt be late!" Mom's voice is now back to her Mummy-thing tone.

"Alright. I said picking up my jeans and sweaters from my closet.

"Hury! You only got 20 minutes more to go!" She said heading out of my room.

"I thought it was real!"

"What time are you going to come back, baby?" Mom asked me as I was about to ride my car.

"Right after the last subject, I'd be here, Mom." I said pouting. I was actually raking my mind about my schedule today. I really have a hard time remembering scheds.

"I just wanna remind you, we'll be having dinner with your producer tonight." She kissed my cheeks and went back inside.

"Oh, shucks! How could I forget that?! What should I do, now?!" In my mind, I was trying to think of a good excuse to make for being absent of my class in case it was one of my major subjects.

"The reason why I called you all for this dinner is to discuss with you the concert that I am about to launch in U.K. I want you all to prepare. Let's cheers to our upcoming Concert Tour!" Mr. D announced as we are all seated in this fabulous restaurant reserved exclusively for us, his talents.

"June, honey, what do you think? Isn't it the right time yet for you to go back to the lime light?" Asked Mom almost expectantly.

"I will try my best, Mom. I'll ask my school teachers if they would allow me to take some leave off school and just resume afterwards." I said to her relief.

"Don't worry, dear, I'll arrange everything for you." Carlo stated.

"Alright, it's settled then." I said submissively.

****

"Wow! You're going to have a concert tour?!" Virgie exclaimed in so much excitement.

"It's not even my first time, Vi!" I said which made her stop from clapping and shouting. I looked around us and listened carefully for the gossips. Thankfully, no one seemed to care about my conversation with Virgie anymore. I don't know when it started but since I get myself enrolled here, my self confidence started to fall. Maybe because I wasn't used to being bullied. I used to be pampered. To be idolized.

Maybe, they just have this problem like 'antisocial' personalities.

"Why are you always been afraid of critism? You should have used that to boost your ego and not to pull yourself off." Virgie frowned. I know she's right but-

"Hello there! Have you guys heard the news yet?" Mark just came on time.

"What news?" Virgie and I asked in unison.

"Britnet Spears is going to have a free concert here next week!" He said in full enthusiasm.

Virgie looked at me, her face show concern.

"Don't worry about me. I'm actually her fan too." I said which is actually true.

She sighed in relief. Mark, oblivious to the said topic she and Virgie exchanged, kept on talking about the upcoming concert.
