Finale

I woke up as soon as I felt the rays of the sun on my face. I hurriedly took my clothes from where I hanged them and put them on.

I can now properly see the ground. I suddenly felt lucky and thankful.

I started walking and following a trail that seems to be the way out of thia forest.

Despite my hunger and thirst, I still felt that I'm fully recharged from having a good night sleep. Thanks to the leaves that I gathered around trees.

I now felt like I  Alice in wonderland. Hahah! Who would have thought that me, June Vineyard who just sang the song that was used as a music background for that movie, has finally experienced it in person?

Well, of course without the presence of unknown creatures.

I'm almost at the opening of the forest- facing the road when suddenly I felt a hand closing my mouth and another on my waist.

Oh God! How did they just found me?! I thought I already survived but now-

"Ssshh. Don't shout. It's me, Mark." He turned my body so that I could face him.

I witnessed everything yesterday and I already informed your family. They are all waiting for you." He said carressing my cheeks. But how can I be so sure that I could trust him?! Who knows, maybe he's one of their accomplices!

"Wait, don't look at me like that. I came here last night but I was on the other side. I never found you so luckily I came here and yes, here you are." He said as if he has known what I was thinking.

He walked ahead of me and opened the door of his car that's been parked on the other side of the road. I can't trust him but-

The hell with this trust issues! It's Mark and I'm hungry and thirsty and is dirty as hell! He'll kill me if that's what he's intension but I don't f*ckin care anymore!

I crossed the road and gave in to his invitation. I came inside his car.

"Oh, God, honey, thanks God you're alive!" My Mom hugged me and kissed me as soon as I got out of Mark's car. She's smiling and at the se time crying. So as Michelle and Matthew and Dad.

"Oh, I'm so sorry about yesterday, sweetie. Maybe if I haven't call you-" I shut her off using my fingertips.

"No Mom, it's not your fault." I assured her. I gathered from Mark that the Police has managed to capture two of the men who has tried to kill me yesterday. And that he has sent the video footage to various TV reporters and has given a copy to the Police men.

So far, the proper authorities has taken action and is now conducting a series of search of those involved individuals and is digging for more imformations of who was the person behind all this.

Meanwhile, they have given me and my family a complete security from the government agency. I am grateful for them.

So, here I am now, able to get a proper bathe and is looking forward for a feast for I am still starving! Ugh.

As soon as we all had finished eating, Mom told me that the call she made yesterday was about my sister, Michelle. They just found out that she's pregnant and that her boyfriend is nowhere to find.

I don't know but I somehow felt relieved. Because yesterday, I was really thinking all the worst scenarios. 

Like my supposedly killers has entered the house and force my Mom to call me so that they'd be able to kill us all at once. Or that Dad has another heart attack... Something like that.

I'm glad it wasn't the way I was thinking.

"Anyways, thanks for all the help, Mark, my dear." Mom looked at Mark and threw him a sincere look of thanks.

"That's oh, don't mention it, Ma'am. I just did what I am supposed to do." He said and shyly bowed his head and pretended to really like his beef stake.

"So, can you give me the time that I was asking from you yesterday?" He asked. My parents has decided not to bring me to the hospital for further tests following my request.

The news itself has shaken not only the whole nation but the whole world.

I am the Pop punk princess and I am known globally. So maybe you figured out already my real identity, right?

"Ahm... alright." I smiled.

He held my hands and brought them to his lips. He kissed them before he claimed my lips!

"And because this concert tour was a success, I'm throwing a real big party tonight, guys!" Mr. D has announced right after the concert. He was too pleased by the numbers of expectators that has come.

Yes, you've just read it right. I decided to do the concert just as what my producer has asked. And about my studying in college?

Well, the Dean and the Proffesors had agreed to let me take some leave pf absence but- I could still come back!

Yes! They didn't kicked me or dropped me out! They actually supported me all the way! Hahaha

And my classmates and schoolmates?

Well, after that free concert that Britney performed in our school, I regained my fans and even has befriended with some of them.

Well of course, I'm still loyal with my bestfriend, Virgie.

And Mark?

Well, he's so proud to announce to everyone that he is officially and exclusively my boyfriend now.

There are new things I've learned in life after that tragic event.

That God is always with us and is always willing to help us.

And that people around us are the ones who could help us and that I should remain as humble as I am, as honest as have always been, and lastly, my being a celebrity thing is nothing compared to a real friendship that I can keep.

Behind the curtains, life is still beautiful.
