1. After a long day, I sat down and took out my journal. I sighed and started to write on the thin flower covered pages.

I wrote: 9/24/15

This is so pathetic. All the moping around and acting like my life can't go on. I am perfectly fine without her. And so what, she's dating my neighbor. I've had worse. I just wish I didn't see her everywhere! It just makes it worse.

2. "Oww!" I screamed as Katie yanked on my hair.

"I'm talking to you, don't run away from me! " she practically screamed in my ear.

"Can't you see I don't want to talk to you right now, just leave me alone!" I sighed in frustration.

"Look." She said in her fake serious tone that she always went into when she was lying. "It was an accident, I'm sorry. Can't you forgive me."

"You know what Katie. Yes I can. Because that is what I do, forgive you every time you screw up something for me that couldn't possibly be done on accident. Just tell the truth, for once in your life!" I screamed and slammed the door of our shared apartment in her face. I just needed some air.

3. "Oh, Hey Abigail." a petite college student said to the once familiar girl with her hand in the grocery store's milk case.

"Hi. How are you?" the blonde haired girl responded surprised at the presence of the other.

"I'm good." she replied "I am graduating from UCLA next month."

"Congratulations!" Abigail responded. "You always wanted to go that school. I didn't know you applied."

"Yeah, thanks." the smaller girl responded again. "Listen, I was wondering if you wanted to maybe get a coffee sometime? Catch up a little bit?"

"yeah that sounds great. I'll give you my number." Abigail said with a small smile.

The other persons roaming the grocery store wouldn't know it. But that small smile on Abigail's face was a long time coming. For the first time in their lives, history was just history and their pasts seemed irrelevant.

4. This was the day of Rebecca's return. Everyone knew it too. And worse, everyone knew what she had done before she went away. Rebecca walked into the crowded cafeteria feeling like an alien. Everywhere she looked her once classmates eyes bugged out of their heads as they saw her. Her eyes lingered for a second on Malory St. Thomas, who was scowling at her from across the room. Upon seeing this, Rebecca's eyes dropped to the ground. They lingered there at her feet for the rest of the walk to the small empty table in the back of the room.

5. I was so done with her. I was disgusted with her, with her attitude, and her never changing was. I wanted her gone. I was done.

6. "Hey dude, I'm really sorry. It was stupid and I didn't know what I was doing. Please forgive me man."
