Kimchi Sunset --- Kwangmin's Imagine Story

“Kwangmin oppa, what are you doing in here?” You asked him. Kwangmin stood up as you asked him. “It’s so cold!” Added you again.

It’s -10ºC in the afternoon. You just finished your school and found Kwangmin was sitting on a bench your way out of the school. He was wearing a darken blue sweater with white tshirt in it and black jeans and sneakers. It’s too simpe for a weather like this. He also wore a cool black cap.

“I just want to pick you up” he answered simply and smiled.

“Omg, if there’s someone recognize you. I’ll die by questions!” You mumbled. Kwangmin giggled.

“No one will know. Just follow me already!” He said holding your shoulder and pulled you to the car.

“What about your schedule, oppa?” You asked him again.

“Thats why I came for you. I want you to come with us on our radio schedule tonight. Im sure it will not be boring if you are in. You want it right?” He explained trying to make a sad face. But all you can do is laugh.

“Of course, but you can contact me first if you want me to come to your place.” You answered. “Plus it’s so cold and you just wearing that kind of outfit. Im feeling like punching you..” you said madly and put your hands against your chest.

You can hear Kwangmin giggled and then suddenly you can see his face was about 10cm from yours he was trying to see your eyes. You were so shocked, your hearts beating so fast but then you turned your head to other side so you cant see his face and you can cover your embarrassed face. Kwangmin laughed seeing your reaction. He likes teasing you!

You and Kwangmin arrived at boyfriend dorm terrace with your hands full of bags of snacks you and Kwangmin just bought on the way to the dorm. This dorm was smaller than the last you remember. And when you entered the dorm, you can see those other 5 members were laughing each other with a tv turning on in front of them. They stop their activities as they heard you both entered.

“Hey Kwangmin! there you are, we were so hungry you know! Ohh, now I know the reason why you’re so long” Dongyun said glanced at you. And you see other members did the same. Then you looked at Kwangmin who was smiling shyly and rubbing his head awkwardly. But this awkward situation can be controled by Minwoo that ran to you and grabbed those bags of snacks and unpatiently looked for snacks he was waiting for. And 4 other members followed him. They act like kids sometimes-_- And you just left them and searched for something you can sit on. But there’s no empty place. This dorm is all a mess! You event cant find something to sit on. And those guys owned this place didnt care about this.

“What will media say if they see this kind of place??” You mumbled.

“What?” Jeongmin was the first person responding.

“I even cant find something to sit on!” You mad taking those pillows on the sofa and put them to where they should be. And whats that, a couple of shirts also laying on the sofa. You took it and went to the kitchen where it should be a basket to put these things. 

On the other side Youngmin was looking at you in the middle of his snack-ing time. He was very touched of what you’re doing. And he took something from that bag of snacks and he came to you.

You finally found that basket and then put those shirts to it. And then something cold touched your hand skin, you quickly turned around and saw Youngmin holding a small bottle of yoghurt and smiled at you.

“You scared me” you said.

“Hahahaha im sorry. Drink this. I thought you want to taste this. This is my favorite flavor” Youngmin said giving you that yoghurt. With an awkward smile you took it and put a straw to it and drank it. 

“Hmm. Sorry about the messy room. You know we are all busy. We dont have time to take care of this.” Youngmin apologized.

“I understand.” You answered and continued drinking your yoghurt, it’s quite delicious you like it.

“Hmm, I’ll back to them” Youngmin said and then walked.

“Yeah” you followed him.

When you both arrived at living room. Kwangmin looked at you both suspiciously. He always gets jealous so easily if it’s because his hyung. I mean. You were with his hyung. That was made him jealous.

You finally can sit on the edge of the sofa where Kwangmin was beside you. You can feel him starring at you when he realized you sat beside him. Then he started asking “what did hyung do to you back there?”

You were shocked hearing that question, you smiled to him and answered “He just gave me this yoghurt. We didnt do anything I swear. You’re too jealousy sometimes..” you said showing him your empty yoghurt bottle and struggled his hair. There’s a relieved feeling you can see on Kwangmin’s eyes. He’s just too cute.

“Let’s take a walk. Im bored here.” Kwangmin said holding your hand and pulled you out of the dorm. 5 other members realized that you both gone and then back to their activities.

“What? You’re still mad with Youngmin?” You asked stopping your steps. He was walking a bit faster than you.

“No im not.” He answered and stopped his steps too. “Give me your hand so you can walk with me” he said giving you his hand to hold.

You smiled and held his hand.

You both bought kimchi and walked to a bridge of a park near the city. Not many people here. You and Kwangmin just walked and ate in silence. Until Kwangmin stopped his steps and laid down his hands on bridge’s wall seeing a small artificial river under the bridge. It was a beautiful view with sunset reflection on the river. You enjoyed that view until Kwangmin spoke.

“I’m afraid” he mumbled.

You shocked and pursed your eyebrows. You waited for the next words he’ll say.

“You know. My hyung. He’s so handsome and charming. All girls fell for him. So many times he got those girls I liked. Those girls always ended up to him. I mean. I dont blame him. I just envy with him.. and I dont want that to be happened again. I dont want that to be happened to you.” He finished his words starring at you so deep. You can feel that hurt feeling he had felt before. And then you smiled, stared at his eyes once again and then said “but I dont know why, I didnt fall for that handsome and charming guy you’ve talked about, what relation you both again?”

“Twins?” He answered slowly as he was so confused.

“Hahaha yeah. I didnt fall for him. I even fall for this 4D guy who is holding his kimchi snack and he was telling me that he’s afraid of losing me from his—- what’s your relation with that guy again??”

“Haha twins?” Kwangmin seemed happy with this topic so he turned his body so he can see you clearly and got his body closer to yours. You cant continue your words because this is too fluttering. You slowly glanced at him but you cant see him because then he laid his forehead to your temple. You can feel his breath on your ear. It’s too fluttering but you enjoyed it by the way. He is the one you fall for. He is the one you’ve been thinking all the time. And you still can feel his breath on your ear as he started to say something..

“I…. I like you” he whispered and then slowly kissed your cheek.

The color of sunset from the bridge with a watery sound of river under it complete this lovely situation of your first time hearing Kwangmin’s feeling about you. 

“I like you too”
