He walked towards Ruan Mei's office, because for many days now she had been leaving an unbearable feeling of dissatisfaction. Who is she anyway to do his brainwork?
"Ratio, have you come?" She turned around and looked at him. The girl was surprised by his presence.
"Amazing, isn't it? What are you doing? There are already rumors all over the station that we will soon get married, what is going on in your worthless head when you say such things?" He pointed his finger at her forehead with sufficient force.
"What? I definitely haven't left the office for the last 2 days. You know this for sure, because I wrote you several letters and asked them to be delivered to you."
And then it dawned on the doctor. All this time, the little prankster, doing many incomprehensible things, was next to the two of them.
"You know, I think I understand," the scientist straightened up and looked at the door. "Gerta is watching us."
"Is it true? I didn't think that this experiment would drag her out so much. All she responded to my proposal was a quick yes."
Ruan Mei looked at the door and then walked towards it, opening it. But there was no one there. Only steps that quickly moved away from here. The scientist glanced at the doctor, and then exhaled. Since he came here, it means we can try again.
Ratio removed the plaster mask from his head and approached her. Despite the lack of feelings for each other, it already began to seem like something intimate, because everything was just for them.
Their lips even pressed against each other with some greed, and their hands grabbed their bodies. Well, what is this if not paradise? Today, Ruan Mei squeezed the guy's shoulders especially tightly, and he, in turn, pressed her body closer to his.
Because of the fast pace of the kiss, they had to pull away from each other. He looked at her slightly reddened cheeks and half-closed eyes. And in front of her was a picture of Ratio's eyes full of desire, as well as a sweaty forehead. Even so he looked beautiful. But why doesn't the heart tremble? Or does it crackle, but because it beats so quickly, it's completely unnoticeable? The scientist touched the man's cheek and ran her fingers over it.
"Today you clearly expected something more, am I right?" He grinned and raised his eyebrows.
"I don't know, I didn't think you would come today. And in general, I thought that you wouldn't come these two days. I wrote to you that I would be busy."
"I haven't read it. I just threw your letters in the trash," he shrugged and rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"I see. Next time I'll put up a sign. Or I'll write you a private message, just give me your number."
"Look, I was daydreaming. I won't just give out my number," he chuckled and sat down in a chair.
"Why? What do I need to do to get your number and communicate as a person of progress, and not of the prehistoric period?"
"Surpass me. In mathematics, of course."
"Then try to surpass me in chemistry. These are equivalent conditions. I see no point in talking about this topic anymore. I ask Gerta for your number."
"And then she will spread more rumors: we are married and we already have a child. Or two."
Ruan Mei just rolled her eyes and ignored his words. She didn't want to give up, because nothing had passed since the beginning of the experiment, and he didn't want to make contact at all.
Then she notices that Doctor Ratio takes and writes something on a sticky note, and then sticks it on her forehead.
"Here," and he left. As always. But looking at him is so beautiful...
