(AN, Enjoy, please comment on how you think it will end with her and Volde? There are talks of self-harm in this chapter but no action of it.)
I am not staining my skin with his mark. I am not staining my skin with his mark.
"Saoirse!" Pansy screamed, causing the great hall to look at us.
"What, sorry," I reply, trying to ignore the stares.
"What's up with you? You have been spacey for a week now," Pansy demanded.
"I haven't been spacey," I mutter, making sure my sleeve is pulled down.
"Hey, let's go back to my dorm," Theo said, staring at me weirdly.
"Why?" Blaise asked.
"Trust me here," Theo said, still staring at me.
We all put our food down and followed Theo. Theo kept me in his sight like he was afraid I was going to run.
"Is this going to take long, because I still want to go to Hogsmead," I asked him, still confused.
Theo hasn't seen my arm. He doesn't know. So what is this? He didn't answer me as we approached the common room. Blaise said the password and we all followed Theodore up the stairs and to his and Blaise's room.
"Okay, what is going on Theo?" I asked him, completely lost.
"You don't have to keep hurting yourself," Theo told me and everyone stared at me.
"I'm not-"
"I have seen you pulling your sleeves down for the past week. Your pulling away and you no longer wear short sleeves outside of classes. I know the signs because I lived them," Theo told me.
"Theo, I'm not self-harming, but are you?" I asked, concern lacing my voice.
"Not anymore," he admitted, "but don't lie. If you aren't show us your arm."
"I can't-"
"Wait so you are?" Pansy asked, tears filling her eyes, "I'm sorry we didn't notice sooner."
I let out a frustrated sigh and lifted my sleeve, "I am not hurting myself."
"What the fuck!" Blaise yelled out after we all went silent.
"Blaise-"
"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked, anger and concern evident.
"I didn't tell anyone-"
"I'm not just anyone. Jesus Christ, there is always something with you!" He yelled standing up.
"I can't control this! I didn't ask for this! You have no clue what I'm going through!" I shouted back.
"You are too much at times." He said lowly.
"Fuck you too," I said lowly.
"I have to go," Blaise said before storming out.
"Fine go!" I scream after him, my entire body hot.
We are both angry and stressed. I know he cares about me, and I am not easy to care about.
"What happened?" Theo asked me.
"My dad threatened Seamus. He said if we all didn't get it he'd kill him," I admitted.
"What!" Pansy yelled.
"My dad wants me to recruit all of you," I whispered, expecting more blow-up reactions.
"We aren't doing that! I get why you did, but I don't care what happens to Finnigan!" Pansy yelled at me, "What were you going to guilt us all in it!"
"No! I was trying to figure out how to tell you before it came out!" I yelled back.
"Blaise is right, you are too much. Our lives would be so much easier if you didn't exist," Pansy said before getting up and leaving.
Tears were now falling down my face. Draco gave me a tight-lipped smile before following Pansy. I was alone with Theo, sobbing quietly. Theo wordlessly pulled me into a hug and rocked me back and forth as I cried.
"What else do you have to do?" He asked me as I started to calm down.
"Kill Snape," I whispered, my voice shaking.
"Fuck," Theo mumbled.
"Fuck indeed," I mumbled back.
Theo pulled away and lifted his sleeve. I gave him a confused look.
"You have always had my back, and you would jump head-first into a volcano if you thought it would save me. This is my showing you that I have your back too," he told me.
"You can't get rid of it Theo," I told him quietly, "And I don't want you to feel forced."
"You didn't force me. I am choosing this," he told me and kept his arm out.
"Okay, if you're sure," I whispered and grabbed out my wand and placed it on his arm.
"Go ahead," he said softly.
"Darcious," I whispered and watched the black ink fill his forearm.
I wanted to cry and scream. I just gave someone the dark mark. I just recruited someone to be a follower of my evil, tyrant father.
I am my father's daughter.
-Time Skip-
"You can't pull away from me forever!" I yelled at Harry, who walked across a store to avoid me.
"You chose a side!" Harry yelled back.
"I didn't choose a side actually! That's why you're pissed at me!" I yelled back, all eyes on us.
"If it came down to it, are you choosing me or them?" Harry asked me.
"I would choose to throw myself in the dark lake," I replied.
"Please, like your fight or flight would let you drown," He replied snarkily.
I let out a laugh at that. He stared at me oddly before laughing himself. We then both lay on the ground because we were laughing so hard. People stared at us as they walked by. After we calmed down, we stayed lying next to each other and stared at the sky.
"I've missed you," Harry admitted.
"I've missed you too."
"Friends?" Harry asked.
"Friends," I agree.
Before we could say more a scream filled the air. Me and Harry both look at each other, debating going to where the commotion was happening.
"Fuck, let's go," Harry sighed before getting up.
We ran and saw Katie in the air, her eyes rolled back, and everyone staring.
"One normal fucking year," I mumble, "All I ask for is one fucking normal year."
Harry smirked at me as Ron and Hermione came over. Once everything was calmed down we all went to talk to McGonagall. I haven't been around in a while so I am curious about theories these dumbasses have come up with.
"I think it was Malfoy," Harry said, making me force a shocked expression.
"I'm always with him, I'd know," I lied, acting confused.
"But-"
"Miss Riddle is correct. Unless you have any evidence there is nothing else to talk about. But I do have to ask. Why is it that when something bad happens, it is always you four?"
"Trust me, professor, we have been asking ourselves that for six years," Ron told her, making me laugh.
"So are we good with her again?" Ron asked Harry.
"We are," Harry agreed.
Hermione hugged me, and we walked back to the castle. I went back to the common room and drank some pumpkin juice while studying. I thought back to everything that had happened today and had one thought.
I don't think Katie is the most cursed student at Hogwarts.
