This will become fairly obvious, but I feel I should add, in this timeline, Sister Location takes place after both fnaf 1 and 2.

"Welcome back to your job, Eggs Benedict! Where you get to do basically nothing in a creepy bunker, with animatronics that are totally not nightmare fuel." Michael pulled into a parking space and stopped the car. "Welcome back, Eggs Benedict," he said, "to another night where you are deprived of most sleep, not that you get much anyway. Seriously what is the point of showing up this late?" He shook his head, blowing a final bubble with his gum, before spitting it out and putting it in a wrapper. He exited the car, adjusting the shirt of his technician uniform. "If tonight was like the last one, I don't see what the point of me coming is, other than randomly zapping the animatronics."

With a small huff, he entered the stark building and, upon finding the right room, hit the call button and waited for the elevator to arrive. Slipping his hands in his pockets, he rocked back on his heels a few times. He let his thoughts meander, unable to keep them from wandering over this rather peculiar job. Mike had no technician experience, other than some vague knowledge of engineering he had been taught. It was a miracle he even gained this job in the first place, but then again, it was his father who told him to do this. Certainly, William had pulled a few strings to get Michael in. And with a reason in mind, apparently.

    Find her...

    Put her back together...

Mike sighed heavily, his eyes lowering to the floor as the elevator arrived. "What does that even mean?" he whispered. "What happened to her, and...and what's the point of doing this?" His hands fisted in his pockets. If something supernatural happened at the pizzerias while he worked there, then he shouldn't be surprised if there was something like that here as well. He hated the thought of it, knowing that it was almost guaranteed to involve Elizabeth. With all the knowledge he'd recently been learning of other missing children, he was almost afraid to find out more, especially regarding someone he cared for. But he had to. Anything to make up for...well, something he didn't like to think of.

Don't even know why I'm still letting that monster command me around, he thought as he entered the elevator, scowling at the very thought of William. It's always the same thing. He's got me under his thumb; I'm like his puppet, he can do whatever he wants with me...except now he doesn't know I'm onto him. Those children that went missing, I think...no, I practically know that— He sighed and ran his hands down his face. He didn't have time for his usual rambling and deciphering of everything he'd learned. He had a job to do, and at least in this location, no animatronics had attacked him yet. He had no intention of dealing with that again, unless absolutely necessary.

"Welcome back to another night of intellectual stimulation, pivotal career choices, and self-reflection on past mistakes." Hand-Unit's voice echoed through the elevator.

"Wow," Michael said, his tone flat. "That's nice."

"We're committed to creating a unique and fulfilling work experience," said Hand-Unit. "One part of that commitment is ensuring that you don't get tired of the voice that you are hearing right now. Using the keypad below, please select a new companion voice." With a slight nod, he retrieved the keypad from its hook on his belt. "For male, press 1. For female, press 2. For text only, press 3. For other options, press 4."

His eyebrows drew together. "The heck is wrong with this place? There's no numbers, you little—" With a nonchalant chuckle, he mashed the keys, and as expected, received the same error message as last night. "Maybe I'll get something amusing, at least."
