I felt numb.
I didn't know why I felt like that. My heart was heavy and my eyes had narrowed on a random spot outside the window. I couldn't think.
Why was this effecting me so much?
I barely knew Robin, and with those exceptionally good looks, he was bound to have a girlfriend. And.. I kind of expected that. Even me, fairytale lover, knew that a person couldn't just fall in love with someone they just met. Contrary to popular belief, that day in the park, I thought, for a second, that maybe, he was my true love? But I quickly shook that thought away because, it just couldn't be so easy.
Snowwhite had to swallow poison.
Cinderella had to endure years of longing for her parents, and endure abuse from her step family.
Belle was enstranged from her father, and trapped with a beast.
So how could I so easily find my true love? With a new sense of hope in my mind, I layed back in my bed, willing myself to go to sleep.
It was six in the morning, when I finally strode out of the bed, and into the bathroom. A quick shower, and my hair piled on the top of my head in a sloppy bun, I quickly resided in the kitchen. It was best to cook something. It was half an hour later, that I heard footsteps heading towards the kitchen. Piling the last of waffles on the plate, I turned around only to be met by Mrs Ramsay. She looked at me for a second, her blonde hair tied in a ponytail, and then she glanced at the waffles on the table right next to me.
"Er-" I sheepishly smiled, "I made breakfast. You don't mind, right?"
Her gaze met mine, and then instantly, she glanced above at the ceiling, and held her hands out in a prayer. "Praise the lord!"
I bursted out laughing, and then a second later, I was engulfed in her arms. "Thankyou, dear." She smiled, and then started to set up the table. I sat down, and took a tentative sip from my apple juice. I yawned, and covered my mouth with my head. Blinking a couple of times, I took a waffle, and started nibbling it.
Mrs Ramsay was busy reading the newspaper, and my mind started to wander to the girl who Robin was with last night. A bit of pain struck my heart at the thought of her, but I quickly swallowed it down. I wondered if she was still here.vQuestions pondered my mind, making my already drowsy head to throb. Thankfully, before I could think anymore about her, Blaise raced down.
"Waffles?" He immedietly questioned, eyes widening, clad in his pokemon shirt and blue shorts. He took a bite, and then immedietly, his eyes lit up. "Waffles!" He moaned, and then, his eyes immedietly darted to his mother. "But you never make waffles!" I gigled at that, and Blaise upon noticing my presence, waved at me. I waved back.
"Dana made the waffles, sweety." Mrs Ramsay chirped. Blaise looked at me for a second, and then got up from his seat accross me. He walked around the table, and I turned a bit in my seat, as Blaise approached me.
