Unlike any other weddings, the newly wedded couple now found themselves quietly seated in the car, devoid of the customary fanfare and the usual cascade of beautiful petals guiding them to their decorated car, where newlyweds joyfully drove away. Instead, it felt like just another casual visit to the cathedral.

"Jungkook-ssi"

Just as Jungkook was on the verge of starting the engine, the angel broke the silence.

"Master," the shy angel immediately corrected himself as he knew what he would have to call him when it was just the two of them.

Jungkook did not seem to mind either way, yet he acknowledged the respect he was given by his husband.

"Yes?" He turned to the angel and noticed that Taehyung was gently unclasping something from his wrist.

"I have nothing to offer. No dowry to speak of," Taehyung clutched the item with a mix of vulnerability and affection, tenderly tracing its contours. "I hope you will accept this. It's the most valuable thing I have."

"This watch means a lot to me." Taehyung extended his hand, eyes fixed on the watch. "Please take it as a token of my gratitude towards you, Master."

As Jungkook fixated on the watch, he discerned its inexpensive worth. It's a Casio watch, a simple watch as compared to the many branded watches he had at home.

He did not know what to say, as he did not consider this marriage so significant to actually receive a dowry.

However, witnessing the angel hold onto it with a fervor that suggested it's the most valuable priceless possession he owned, Jungkook accepted the watch, discreetly slipping it into his pocket. He mumbled a small "Thank you" and started the engine.

Taehyung's heart constricted, observing how his master casually stowed away the watch, almost as if it held no significance.

As Jungkook drove, both remained silent until he pointed out the window upon reaching the destination. "This is where I work. I don't think I have enough time to drop you off at home first, Taehyung. I will send you home after I clear some stuff," Jungkook said, breaking the lingering silence in the car. Taehyung nodded in agreement and finally dared himself to look out the window.

Wow.

Somehow the idea of seeing a big school before his eyes bubbled an excitement in him. He has always wanted to go to school.

"May I ask, Master?" Taehyung inquired politely, and his master responded with a hum.

"What are you working as?" Taehyung wondered.

"I'm a professor here at KAIST." Jungkook responded as he drove in the campus heading to his faculty.

"Is this whole place the school?" The angel gasped, captivated by the vastness of the campus.
