ROGUE: PLASMA

1. Corruption

-The black drug arc-

"Stop the experiment and shut the machine down!" Said the scientist yelling while pointing at the red button.

The whole lab filled with scientists and researchers panicking thinking what to do next, the machine keeps on making loud siren sound as the lights keeps blinking red.

The female researcher who was holding a bunch of document gives a quick nod and rush to the button to press it when suddenly the other old aged scientist stops the researcher from pressing the button.

The old age scientist gave her a slight evil grin. "No, i think this experiment will be a success" Said the old aged scientist in a calm tone in his voice.

The female researcher giving a worried look at the scientist, she was hesitant wether if she follow the scientists order because it's their boss.

"B-but....sir! The machine is malfunctioning the child might die!" The researcher gave her boss a worried look and tone on her voice.

"No no *laughs slightly* it's normal for the machine to malfunction like this *Coughs*, I've been working as a scientist for years and i always encounter this kind of malfunctions" The scientist explains confidently.

The researcher was hesitant, she keeps looking at the button and her boss. "So you're saying?" She asks her boss.

"That she will earn the strongest ability to control electricity" Said the scientist with confidence in his voice.

the researcher gives a quick nod then turned to the little child inside the machine.

The sound of the siren keeps on making loud sounds while the little girl who is inside the machine keeps having seizures and was rapidly shaking.

-Chain's Pov-
-1 year later after the incident-

The incident kept me awake for the whole night, i was at the living room sitting at the couch with a warm milk on my hand. The milk makes me feel sleepy, i know i might be 18 years old but drinking milk is still my thing when u can't sleep.

My little sister always makes me milk everytime i feel I can't sleep, my sister suffers from social anxiety that's why she can't go to school because of this disorder. I stop studying 3 months ago.

The incident made me feel so devastated because she is the only i have, our parents sold us to the scientist to make money to inject themselves with a addictive substant called the "black drug".

I've been training my sister to communicate well so i can take her to school but after the incident everything had changed.

I finally finished drinking my milk so i went to the kitchen to place the mug at the sink.
After that i went back to my messy bedroom, dirty clothes are scattered everywhere even in my bed. I put the clothes aside the bed then lied down the bed. I feel really sleepy this time so i closely my eyes and slowly fell asleep.

*Boom!* A sudden loud explosion sent a jolt to my sleep, i quickly opened my eyes and turned my head to my right side to look at the clock and it's 2:40 at midnight.

I quickly stood up from my bed and walked to the window to take a peek on what's happening outside. As i spread the curtains and opened the window i sticked my head out the window and looked down my apartment to see a bunch of group in a black suit wearing masks and a burning car outside.
