It is finnally happening, your dream is coming true. Becoming a successful doctor and moving to the USA.
You have been there as a tourist but now you are a legal citizen there.
Although your trips to the USA went pretty good with you interviewing Hollywood actor's (got a little lucky).
But now it's finally the time to settle here.You know nothing about living in the USA and there is no one you know. Although you were able to get a little help from Alex,(i just made up a random name) the transporter of your goods. He was the only person you knew in the foreign country.
You managed to get a job easily in a well known hospital (thanks to your degree) and made some new colleagues. You currently live in a small apartment as this is a completely new country and you want to get comfortable first.
It has hardly been one month in the country living alone.
Y/n's POV
'God it's so tiring to live alone' you thought to yourself laying on your bed.
'I'm so bored, I have nothing to do this weekend'
You took out your phone and started scrolling. You got tired eventually and put it down. The sun was setting...
You were hungry but realised that you aren't in your actual home, it's another country with you all alone without your family. You felt sad and your eyes were filled with tears.
You kept crying for a few minutes then got up.
'Hold yourself Y/n, you're on your own nobody is coming to help you'
You said to yourself.
You dressed up, locked the door and went to the grocery store to get groceries.
The lady at the cash register gave you a firm smile as you entered, you have known her since you moved here as this is the only grocery store you came to.
You bought the groceries and came back home.
You placed the food to cook on the stove and went to take a shower.
After you came back, you ate the dinner and went to your room. You sat on the study table and studied for a few hours before getting tired and laying on the bed.
You stared blankly at the ceiling and fell asleep.
Sorry guys, I know that this is a boring and short chapter but I felt you needed a background sketch of Y/n before continuing the story.
