Chapter 13 : Unexpected visitor

Y/n's POV:

Me and Chris were chilling in the living room
He was busy with some script reading and surprisingly I was free so i was just hanging out with Dodger.

I was snuggled up with Dodger on the couch and Chris was sitting across us,he had his glasses on and eyes glued to the laptop screen.

The silence broke when we heard the doorbell.


I got up "Dont worry I'll take that".
Chris finally looked up to me and muttered a little "Thanks." before continuing his work.

I walked up to the door wondering who could that be before opening the door.
And to my surprise...It was Scott. SCOTT EVANS, Chris's younger brother.

His smile dropped when he saw mw and confusion grew across his face.
"What are you doing here?" he asked.




Scott's POV: 


I was finally about to meet my brother after 'the incident'. I was so relieved to know that he was safe and doing fine.
I hadn't told him yet that I was coming to meet him to surprise him.
Also for last few months i.e. after 'the incident' we hadn't talked much about everything,including his crush.... so I was  ready to meet him.


The door opened and I was shocked to see Y/n standing there...
ofcourse i was expecting to see Chris there not his crush so the first words that came out of my mouth were...

"What are you doing here?"

I saw panicked Chris move from the couch and walk to us.

"Hey Scott.....how you doing...quite the surprise eh?" he said trying to sound cool.

I understood the situation a little and smiled.
I moved closer to him and hugged him
"good to see you safe" i said as i buried my face in his shoulder..
I was scared that something would happen to him but now that i saw him i was relieved...


also that his 'crush' was there with him idk why and also angry that he didnt tell me that.


"keep your mouth shut....I'll answer all your questions." he whispered before pulling away.

I got that....he was trying to act cool in front of his crush...


I turned to Y/n and introduced myself and thanked him for saving my brother.
I pulled him into a hug as a thank you gesture but i could see the possessiveness and jealousy in Chris's eye.
"I swear I'm going to kill you" he mimed.
I got away and we all walked to the living room.

Y/n was a pretty good host, very hospitable and sweet and i could see why Chris liked him that much..

He left to do some work or cook leaving me and chris alone.

"so when were you going to tell me huh?" i asked with a sly voice.






Chris' POV:



"look I'm sorry...i was about to tell you and then i got busy....that's why i couldn't even text you...also because it was important" I answered sounding guilty.

"well I'm just happy that youre fine now because of him...but I'm also curious to know how did this happen" he said relaxing on the couch opposite to me.

"Well he was in a pretty rough house situation and he told me about it...so i suggested that he should come live with me" I explained.

"I know that's not the whole story.....lemme guess you made it sound desperate didnt you?" he said with a grin on his face.



i sighed, "yeah maybe i did.....but to be honest he was too oblivious about it so I'm pretty sure he doesn't know about anything"


"ohhh right....but dude i gotta admit...nice house-husband" he said with a wide grin on his face.

My cheeks turned pink when i heard it...
"He uhm I-  not..........he is not a house husband....we're just acquaintances" i said stuttering.

Scott raised an eyebrow "Seriously?". Gsh dammit....he could see right through me.

"Friends!" i replied.

He had the same expression,not really buying it.

"best friends" i answered .

Still that judgy look.

"fine...i like him so what" i whisper shouted.

He chuckled and relaxed. "Tell me...what's so special about him?" he was determined to get evreything out of me today.


My shoulders relaxed a little and I started explaining him about everything,about Y/N.



AFTER SOMETIME


"....and so now he lives with me" i shrugged and said.


" So You do like him a lot huh?" he said matching my eyes.


"Yeah...He's not like my previous interests both physically and behaviourally...he is so likable and lovable It just makes my heart go fast" I replied.

"So does he like you back?" he said nonchalantly.

"I mean idk....he talks like he is in love with everyone,his eyecontact, his ability to trust others easily, his smile that can make anyone's day is just too cute.....but that's what makes him difficult to read yk?"

"Yeah i get it" he sighed.

General POV:

It got late and while having dinner, Y/n and Scott talked a lot A LOT (I'm sorry i suck at writing and I'm lazy af) which led to Chris getting annoyed but he hid his annoyance using his acting skills and sat in silence.

He felt like he's the one 3rd wheeling between them.

Y/n and chris dont talk this much and he was getting kinda jealous of it.

First of all I wanna apologise for posting late....
3 MONTHS LATE 💀😭

I was busy and tbh My mind went completely blank on how to continue this story.
Also this chapter was NOT interesting at all
IDK I'm too dumb....and i even forgot the plot one day (yeah I'm dumb af) but now I'm back.
I'll try to be as active as possible and if i get lucky...I might even finish it.

In the meantime .....
