Robin's POV

After I got home I flopped down on my bed. I have been thinking a lot recently and need Vance's advice. I rolled over on my back and pulled my phone out of my pocket. I pulled up his number and blankly stared at my screen for a bit until I eventually decided against it and put my phone away. I got off of my bed and went downstairs to make dinner.

Finney's POV

I have been thinking of confessing lately, but I just don't know how. I'm worried it will ruin our friendship. I mean, we do seem like we are a couple already, I mean we are more touchy than regular friendships should be, but I don't know if he wants to date me. I have been so confused lately. Tomorrow I should text Bruce, he usually has some pretty good advice.

(Time skip to tomorrow morning bc I'm lazy)

Robin's POV

I Woke up and brushed my hair and teeth. I should probably text Vance and ask him what to do, maybe he can give me some good advice. I went into my room and unplugged my phone from the charger.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I found that pretty odd. Vance never wants to hang out, especially not this early in the morning, so he must take this pretty seriously. I put on some clothes and ate some breakfast. After I was done I put on my shoes and headed outside. I rode on my skateboard to Vance's and eventually made it there. Almost as soon as I stepped onto his front porch his front door swung open and I was pulled inside. "Finally you came, Griffin is on his way here," Vance said, dragging me up his stairs and into his room. "Griffin?" I asked, my voice skeptical. "Back up, duh," Vance said. "Uhmm... okay????" I replied. The thought of Griffin giving serious love advice felt strange, that kid is on some other shit so him being in charge of something being taken rather seriously is quite concerning. We sat around in his room until Griffin suddenly climbed in through the window. "I have a door you know?" Vance said. "Oh right." Griffin shrugged. He has a satchel with him that he set on the floor. "Did you clear up a space?" Griffin asked Vance. "yep." Vance replied. I felt pretty confused. "Great, Robin sit in the middle of the room," Griffin ordered. "Uhhh... Okay?" I replied, sitting down on Vance's floor. Griffin took out a small pouch and pulled crystals out of it and placed them in my hands. "Don't set those down or the ritual won't work," Griffin instructed. "Ritual?" I asked. "Don't worry about it, it's totally safe... I think." Griffin said, pulling out a clear ziplock bag filled with sand. I gave a concerned glance and Vance who just shrugged. "It worked for me before I asked out Bruce," Vance said. Griffin proceeded to walk around me pouring the sand in a circle with me in the middle. I knew Griffin and Vance were crazy but this is actually wild. Griffin then pulled out four candles and placed them around me as well. Griffin lit the candles and pulled out a book. "Griffin, what the fuck is this?" I asked. "Calm down or else your ora will be red," Griffin explained calmly. I was very confused and concerned for Griffin's mental state. "What is your zodiac sign?" Griffin asked. "Pisces," I replied. "Mhm.. and Finney's?" Griffin asked. "Uhmm Cancer I think?" I replied. "Great! You two seem pretty compatible." Griffin said. He opened a book and browsed through it. "Now it's time to begin." Griffin was starting to disturb me. "Lights" Griffin ordered, and Vance turned them off. "Now, I must recite the passage from this book," Griffin explained. Griffin handed Vance a kazoo. Griffin started reciting gibberish as Vance played random notes on the kazoo. It seems as if I am surrounded by psychos everywhere I go. After Griffin was done Vance turned the lights back on. "Now blow out the candles and stand up," Griffin said. I blew them out and then stood up. He took the crystals from my hand and stuffed everything back into his bag as Vance started Vacuuming the floors. "So how are you planning on asking him out?" Griffin asked the tone in his voice calm. "So are we just going to pretend like that ritual thing didn't just happen?" I asked. "yes." Griffin and Vance answered at the same time. I sighed. "Just answer the question," Griffin said. "Uhmm I don't know. The whole reason I asked Vance for help was to decide that." I replied. "Maybe take him on a walk to the park?" Vance suggested. "Maybe-" I replied.  "perfect, it's settled. Text him right now and meet up with him." Griffin interrupted. "RIGHT NOW!?" I asked. "I are you crazy?" "Would you not trust me if I say yes?" Griffin asked. "Just do it! What's the worst that could happen?" Vance jumped in. "So many things," I replied. "Oh come on! Sometimes I forget you two aren't dating." Griffin scoffed. I thought for a moment. "Fine. I will." I sighed, pulling my phone out of my pocket.
