Lost On The Football Field//Brooklyn Beckham

Chapter 3

Bethany's Pov

2 weeks had passed and winter break was coming in one week. I've got really close with Brooklyn and I noticed that I actually do have feelings for him. He said he liked me and he was gonna take me out on a date on Friday but he wouldn't tell me what we're doing.

I still play football but not as much as I used to, now I only practice 2 or 3 times a week which is pretty bad since I used to practice every day and I'm not as good as I was.

....I was getting ready for school and looking through my closet for a jacket until a small little picture fell from a box. I picked it up and looked at it and it was a picture of my dad, mom, little sister and me.

I remember back in the past when I used to have a perfect life..when I had a mom and a little sister but strange things started to happen until one day I came back from school and my mom and little sister were gone and I found a note on my bed that read

      Dear Bethany,
I'm so sorry but I have to leave and I'm taking your little sister Stella with me, things just didn't work out with me and your dad anymore and I know you won't understand but it's for the best I'll see you soon. xx
Love mom.

It's been 4 years and I still haven't heard from my mom or little sister. I heard my dad come in "are you ready for school your gonna be late." he said I just nodded and ran down the stares and into the car and my dad drove me to school.

Brooklyn's Pov
I was waiting for Bethany at school then I saw her walk in and she seemed to be in her own thoughts because she didn't even see me when she walked past me she had her head down and she headed to class.

I walked in class and walked over to Bethany. "Hey" "hey Brooklyn" she said in a small smile. "what's wrong?" I said and she she looked at me with a big smile and said "nothing just tired" I smiled back at her and said "okay" but I knew she wasn't telling me the truth.

(After school)

Bethany's Pov
I stayed after school to play some football and Brooklyn stayed with me. We were just passing the ball around back and forth to each other. "so.....do you still wanna go on a date with me? He asked blushing. I giggled and said yes. It was now getting late and the sky was getting darker so we decide to head home.

Once I reached my front door I turned to look at him and he was staring at me and he seemed very nervous. "Well bye Brooklyn see you tomorrow at school" i said reaching in for a hug and he hugged back and once I was about to turn around he grabbed my wrist and pulled me in close to him and leaned in and gave me kiss. I kissed him back and smiled into the kiss and so did he. Once he pulled away he smiled and left.

I walked in and my dad wasn't home I wonder where he could have gone out this late he's usually home by now. I walked upstairs to my room and put some music on and laid on my bed thinking about the kiss. When he kissed me I felt fireworks inside me and I didn't want to stop kissing him.

"Hey Beth sorry I'm late I was out." My dad walked in my room breaking me from my thoughts. "Its okay dad" I said smiling at him. He gave a weak smile and said "we need to talk" I just smiled and nodded my head.
