Heart in Range

Episode IX - A moment we share

It was raining like a shower, hail came along afterwards...
As it got really cold, Andy gave me his jacket as we ran to the theater room where he started to play a beautiful piano piece... 
It's been years since he played the piano, yet that was the one piece he loved to play.

Andy: "I can teach you... How to play?" - He smiled shyly

As I shrugged and smiled, he took me hand and lead my to the piano- sitting me down on the stool and so he sits to my right, asking me to play 3 notes over and over again, and so I did- I changed tones sometimes, he added high notes and so, we formed a duet. [Play the YouTube song above]

Adam came in drenched from the rain, sitting down and playing along on his violin. Slowly ending the song, we all look at each other happily, Bella clapping cheerfully.

After a while, we decided to perform a simple song we could all play. It was pretty awesome how we all got along with the music~
It got really late- we all went to our dorms as Andy was making us tea... We decided that we would perform at the Halloween party that was next week, so we had to practice a lot...

As Andy finished making tea he pressed my mug on my head as I was distracted, daydreaming out the window...

Andy: "Here's your tea, shortie"

Me: "Stop calling me that!"

Andy: "You love it" - He winks and kisses my cheek

I stared at him a bit annoyed, as he smiled likely innocent I couldn't get mad at him... I just loved him too much, I was always too scared to hurt him...

Andy: "You're such a nerd..."

Me: "Oh I'm the nerd?!"

Andy: "You're my nerd"

Andy jumps on the bed and pulls me towards him, pulling me onto his chest as I lay on him...
Of course giggles come out as we both laugh and stare into each other's eyes...

He slowly stopped laughing and leaned closer to me, pressing his lips on mine- it felt like heaven having him touch me, I never wanted him to stop... I never wanted him to let me go... I loved him, I knew I loved him...

We slowly stopped, as we started to watch Attack on titan a bit further, I sometimes looked over at his face as I saw him concentrated, seeing him focused on watching the series, and about an hour later he fell asleep, I almost did too...

His breathing slowed down bit by bit. His body was so still, it got too quiet after a while...
I closed his laptop and put it on the desk, as I felt that it was gonna be a cold winter this year.

I always wondered what Andy would dream about in his sleep, or what would be on his mind when he looks out of the window or when he sighs... Does something bug him? He barely smiles when we're around people, always so serious... Or so tired or everything.

I walked outside to the balcony as Mittens started to rub her back on my leg, I was looking up at the stars and sighed... My breath was so warm to the cold temperature outside, it felt so good being surrounded by the cold.

Without any words spoken, i felt Andy's arms around my waist holding my body tight from behind-
it was so quiet as Andy's lips pressed against my neck, I felt such a rush in my chest...

Andy: "I lo- I love you..." - He hesitated

Me: "A-Andy?"

Andy would never say that in such a serious tone of voice, he always said it to make me blush or to tease me... This time he meant it, and I felt so shocked yet so... Happy...

He slowly pulled up my shirt stroking my chest with his cold hands, although I felt warm... Feeling his touch on my body made me shiver but I wouldn't want him to let go of me... He made me feel safer...

I turned around slowly as he holds my chin and kisses me softly on my lips, I let out a small moan unintended as he giggles a bit and kisses me more. As he pushed me back a bit, he leaned his head on my shoulder... I held his body close to mine, I wouldn't let go...

He was tired and so was I, he wanted me to stay beside him tonight, so I layed next to him as he slowly fell asleep holding my hand, I pulled up the covers to keep him warm and safe- 
Mittens layed next to me, snuggling on my chest as I pet her fur softly.

His chest rose with every breath he took, softly sighing again and again...
I knew I would dream of him every night, that he would be on my mind all the time... 
From the start until the end.

Author's Note: I haven't published much in ages I know... I'm working on a lot of stuff and I barely have time for myself although I'm trying to write as much as I can on my spare time... I know this chapter sucked a bit but I promise I'll make the next ones better... I hope~
