Episode XI - Distant memories

The next morning, Andy woke up before I did... 
He didn't want to wake me so he cuddled me from behind and held me tight.
I was already awake a little while after he was, but just pretended to be asleep and feel his arms around me.

As I turned around he'd just lean on his arm and stare at me, playing with my hair...
We didn't want to get up and do things yet, so we stayed in bed half naked hugging each other for a while.

I was gonna apply for a job today, wasn't sure what Andy was going to do, guess just take showers and drink tea as usual...
After about 20 minutes, Andy got up and made breakfast for both us, he just stood around in the kitchen with only boxers on... Which was cute, although,  I had nothing on... That was kind of a problem...

I eventually found something to wear, and put on something classy to apply for a job at the Vinyl store across the road, Andy served his amazing breakfast as we spoke about our plans for the day.
He was just gonna write his book more while I would be away... Which is great, he won't let me read it until he's finished it... So I really can't wait, I'm so curious to know what he writes about.

When we both finished our food, he kissed me once more before I left, and so, I walked out and put on my earphones, walking my way to the Vinyl store... I was super nervous for the interview...

I was gone for about an hour or so, good news is that I got the job and I can start on Monday after my classes... I took the long way home to enjoy a nice walk around the evening.

I saw Joseph and Adam walk by, so we went to eat something real quick and talked about what was going on in our lives since we moved into our dorms, of course I didn't tell them about me and Andy yet...

When I walked on my way home I saw that door 207 was still open... My dorm...
I opened up and saw Andy standing in front of the window.
He turned around and suddenly I saw a girl sitting on a chair facing him, she was looking down at the floor then suddenly looked up at me as her eyes widened up.

Emily: "Tyler, babe. Finally I get to see you again!"

Me: "E-Emily?!"

Emily got up from her seat to go give me a hug but Andy pushed her back down onto the chair gently.
He looked mad for some reason, which is understandable... She's my ex girlfriend I moved in with before I got here... 

Andy: "I asked her what she was doing here but she wouldn't answer me at all... She just wanted to see you"

Emily: "I came here to get you back, Tyler... I just came here to apologize for what happened... I've missed you so much, you're the only one I love"

Andy looked at me and sighed as if she was annoying him so much... I just looked at her confused not knowing what to say... She did sleep with my best friend and broke my heart for about a year.
There's no way I'd just forgive her like that... She must be crazy.

Andy: "Well, Emily. You should probably leave since he doesn't want anything to do with you"

Emily: "Is that true, Tyler?!"

Me: "Well, I've moved on... There's no way I'd just go back with you, I live here now"

Emily: "Yeah, that's why I'm moving in here too..."

Andy looked at me worried and shocked as I stared at her the same way... There's no way she'd just go into the college without any talent in music at all... This is a music college for people who studied hard... How did she get in here?!

She got up and kissed me on the cheek, she just smiled as if we were like we used to be... Has she forgotten the fact that she broke me? That she cheated on me?

Me: "I'm no longer in love with you, Emily. You should pack your bags and leave because there's no way I'm coming back to you. I met someone else"

Emily looked at me and Andy various times and chuckled as if she'd figured something out...

Emily: "I see you've found your lover huh? It's cute how you and your room mate are more than just roommates... Good luck with that, Tyler. You'll come back to me eventually"

And so, she just leaves as Andy locks the door to make sure she's not coming back in here... He sits down on his bed and sighs worryingly... I sit beside him and look at him nervously.

Andy: "Looks like I do have to protect you from something, after all..."

Me: "H-Huh?"

Andy: "I must make sure she doesn't make you love her anymore... You're mine..."

I sit down next him and smile as I look deeply into his eyes... As Andy sits up straight I lean closer, slowly kissing him as I run my fingers through his hair. He slowly put his hand on my back from the inside of my shirt and asked how the job interview went... When I told him I got the job he seemed so happy, pushed me up and kissed me more.

Andy: "I want to take you out to dinner..."

Me: "N-Now?"

Andy nodded as he puts on a jacket and reaches out for my hand.
I placed my hand on his as he leads me out the door and across the street... A french restaurant which seemed pretty fancy.

We took a seat there and drank wine, had some amazing food and just talked about each other... He asked if I wanted to openly talk about our relationship to other people... I mean, I don't see why not... It's not a bad thing going out with a guy, as long as I love him then no one can tell me otherwise.

Our romantic evening lasted for a few hours, we got a little drunk and decided to walk back home, yet we stumbled upon a cute little park with such beautiful illumination, we sat on a bench and stared at the stars while I rested my head on Andy's shoulder. His body warmed up mine, it felt like a dream I never wanted to wake up from...

Our day was kind of ruined by an unexpected visitor from England, but we managed to make it better by going out to a fancy restaurant and had a romantic night... 

Now we're just silently looking at the sky holding each other's hand... On a cute old bench at a park, it was so cold, the clouds were all faded away... The stars looked so bright and beautiful...
Andy kissed my head and put his hand on my leg as he sighed happily...

We both knew that we barely have times like these, spending time alone in a park watching the stars. We don't have much time to be on a "date" yet... This was all we needed today...
